Attention followers!
Greetings new and old followers!
As you might have noticed, this blog is, currently, on and indefinite hiatus sadly :c. However I am finding more motivation in my other blog @askthepokemafia while I slowly think on stuff for Rocco here! So if you can go ahead and follow me there as i’ll be logged into that for most of the time. Catch ya’ll on the flip side!

As a remindeeer, im gonna be mostly active over at @askthepokemafia for awhile. Of course I havent abandoned Rocco, he’ll get to have his Bizarre Adventure soon enough~
A shady looking Scrafty walked down the sidewalk of a quiet street. He held up his loose, slightly saggy pants as he looked around the area. Not many people around as far as he could see, just a Slowbro with a bag around him waiting for a ride. Suddenly, a grand idea came to the Scrafty’s mind. He grinned and snickered darkly, casually making his way over to the other Pokemon. The Scrafty tapped him on the arm, to which the Slowbro very slowly turned his head around, and gave a smile.
“Well… hel…lo… there! Did you… Need… Some…thing… Sir?” He spoke in a slow, slightly deep voice. The Scrafty simply stuck his tongue out with a seemingly innocent smile. “Oh, nothin’, just wanted to take ya’ stuff is all.” The Scrafty had a stupid grin on his face as he snatched the bag away from the Slowbro, knowing he would be too slow to do anything about it, and began running off. Unsurprisingly, the Slowbro was very slow to react to this. “Come… Back… With… My… Stuff!” He shouted, and the Scrafty stopped in his tracks for a moment, seemingly complying, only to turn around and stick his tongue out at him tauntingly, before running off again, the Slowpoke being helpless to do anything.
The Scrafty didn’t look back as he ran down the sidewalk, chuckling to himself. “What a suckah! I oughta start goin’ after those slow guys more often!” His laughter grew louder, but his celebration was cut short as he ended up bumping into a Lucario, dropping the bag he stole.
“Finn! You lil’ shit!” The Lucario hissed, hopping and holding onto his bruised leg. A green Scizor picked up the dazed Scrafty and held him up by his hood with his pincers. The smaller Pokemon squirmed, trying to get free.
“Damn, that must’ve been some headbutt. And here I thought your head was full of air.” The Scizor snickered, handing Finn over to the Lucario, who promptly dragged him by his hood to a nearby alleyway and pinned him against the wall by his arms. “Ya’ brotha ain’t here with ya’ I see?” The Lucario’s face formed into a wicked grin, showing off his bare canines. “Good shit.”

The typhlosion shuddered, the thought thought of swimming wasn’t too scary… But he was a fire type. Those two things just don’t mix! “Well, yeah, I can swim; It’s just… I can’t stand anything too deep. Anything more than nine feet I’m not touching at all. What if I get sucked up by a wailord on accident, or get attacked by an aggressive group of sharpedo? My only defense is hitting them while underwater… Which is stupid. And thunder punch, my own move, would absolutely fry me. I think I’d rather swim for fun at a small pool or whatever… That stuff ain’t scary at all.” He put a hand on his hip and pounded his chest with his other arm, grinning. “But don’t let that one thing make ya’ think I’m a weenie! Besides that, nothing could make me shy away from anything~”
The icy four-tailed Lucario approached Rocco with a spring in her step, but with a slight sticking out of her tongue, wearing a rather cute yet awkward apologetic expression. "Aheehee, hiya hiya! Remember me? From the ABL? Hee, um, so uh, how're you doing? I uh, hope I didn't puncture you too hard! I just, haha, c-couldn't help from laughing from remembering that fight, and you already had your arm around me sooo, heehee! It was just too funny I wasn't thinking! But um, yeah, you're okay right?"
Rocco didn’t notice Lixue walking up to him. His back was turned while he was busy wrapping a wound dressing around his chest, right where the lucario’s own chest spike stabbed him. Once he heard her voice and became aware of her presence, he got scared and jumped, covering the wrapping around him by crossing his arms. “O-oh! Hey! I’m perfectly fine, thank you. Just crossing my arms, being cool and stuff, y’know?” He gave a smile with the tiniest bit of discomfort in it, trying his best to hide the wound. “Are uh, you okay yourself? You were laughing pretty hard last time… Heh, big booty drop bomb attack…” Rocco tried stifling a laugh, but he just couldn’t hold it. The more he thought about that video the more he was rolling on the floor laughing, being sure to cover his bandage though.
(askre) Sean: Hello there, mister. My partner Re told me he met you. I was wondering, what's with those goggles you wear? Are they important to you, like how Re's bag is to him, or did you live in a place that required eye protection?
“Oh! Nice to meet you then.” He smiled, extending a hand. “My name is Rocco, as Re probably told you.” He grabbed his goggles and pulled them off his head to show them off. “I guess they’re somewhat important- and super stylish too. I only ever used them for eye protection once, when I was riding back and forth on the back of a Tropius. He let me keep them afterwards. Other than that, there’s no big story to these things.”
Evelynn@Rocco: "Now aren't you a rather stunning individual, I like the accessories~" The Salazzle chuckles, flashing the Typhlosion with a playful grin. "I've heard that you're a mercenary, hmm? I hope you'll indulge in a lady's curiosity, because I must ask~ What's the most stunning thing that has happened to you during your career?"
“Oh, you flatter me, miss~ Might I say that you’re rather stunning yourself! Your flames really bring out your uh… Eyes.” Rocco awkwardly looked away and cleared his throat. “Anyways, let me start with that I started doing mercenary work as a Cyndaquil, along with a friend. It sounds strange, I know, but think of it as a junior exploration team or something; Except we needed to do what we needed to do to survive. To answer your question though, there’s just so many things I could choose from… But one in particular was when we had to hunt down a zoroark who was killing people and disguising himself as them. It was really hard to do it, especially when we had no idea who he could be, and if he knew we were after him. I almost became his next victim.” Rocco grinned. “He disguised himself as me and was about to take my friend out, but he managed to outsmart the zoroark and knock him unconscious, even despite the differences in strength. Most children wouldn’t know what to do in this situation, but we were far from the ordinary! Though, I guess you could say my friend did most of our work that time…” He rubbed the back of his head nervously. “Dosen’t mean I didn’t pull my own weight though! After all, what is a main character getting his title for if he does nothing?!” Rocco grinned, doing a little pose as he looked at Evelynn. “Does that answer your question?~”
Milli: *bonks Rocco on the head with her scissors* Ay! Think y'c'jus'leave n'I'll forget 'bout ya? Gimme the mun's or I'll shave yer'ead! [anon because switching accounts on phone is a PITA]
“Aww, it’s you again!” Rocco grinned, going to try and quickly snatch the scissors away from Milli’s hands. “No money for you however~ And besides, children shouldn’t be playing with scissors~” He teased, holding the scissors by the blades as he started waving it around above her head.

The chocolate fluffed Lopunny had a bounce in her step as she approached Rocco. She had a big smile on her face. "Hey there!" She greets while looking over the tall Typhlosion. "Hmmmm! Nice cosplay! It looks like its from one of those old school video games! Where'd ya get it?"
“Old school?” He gasped, “Cosplay?!” Rocco clenched his chest, his face shocked at the words of the young Lopunny. “I’ll have you know, this is completely original and done by me! Not based on video games or anything!” He huffed, crossing his arms. He squinted and eyed the awfully short young lopunny. She could barely reach his chest!
“I will admit, I like your cosplay if that is one. Now, to answer your question… These,” he tugged at the pair of goggles strapped around his head, “were with me since the day I was born. My mother gave ‘em to me, they aren’t really anything special. I mean, unless you count protective eye wear being special then I guess it is. And my scarf was just something I wore back in my old days of being a part of a team. Funny, isn’t it? I had this since I was a Cyndaquil and it still fits like a charm!”
Freddy@Rocco: So let me give you a test I tend to give to all of the mons I meet for the first time. What are your thoughts on humans? Do you think pokemon can live with them in society, or nah?
Rocco turned towards Freddy, his eyes widening in surprise. "Oh! Hey there... Didn't see ya' coming. You've got a nice jacket, I don't see many Pokemon with fancy clothes as yours. The name is Rocco by the way." Rocco cleared his throat. "Anyways, to answer your question, they're uh... Okay, I guess. At least the ones I've met. This world here doesn't naturally have humans at all, but there was one time a Pokemon had claimed they were a human." He rubbed the back of his neck, looking away from Freddy.
"As for your other question, it really depends on the humans. As long as they don't try and mess with me, I'm totally fine with 'em coexisting. Except this one human girl I met. I'm still salty about her.”
The Typhlosion walked up to the orange lopunny, shooting him a toothy grin. "Say, you've got some nice legs there, thunder thighs! If you don't mind me saying of course~." He stood next to the lopunny and flareon hybrid, wrapping an arm around them. "I can see you do a little fighting yourself. I'm no different, but," he dragged out, "I'm probably what they would call "too aggressive". Catch my drift? Anyways, tell me what kind fighting style YOU use, thunder thighs!"
This was the second creature to comment on Blayz’s thighs and this was what he was more used to. His eye twitched as he took a deep breath.“Thunder Thighs… I should be used to it but… Ok Blayz, keep calm its a creature, you can’t pummel its face in.” He thought to himself.As Rocco talked more and called Blayz “thunder thighs” like it was his nickname, Blayz was infuriated. He took a sharp inhale then a long slow exhale.“Too aggressive? Hmmm… Interesting~ I cant say that I catch your drift but, rather than tell you about my fighting style, I would be more than happy to actually show you if you’d want a demonstration~ Oh! I forgot, my Name is Blayz, whats yours…? He said as he smiled. Behind that smile though hid a rage to which this specific universe had never seen. He remained calm and waited for the right moment to pay back this weird looking dog-rodent back ten-fold.
"Are you asking for a spar? You could've said so, handsome!" Rocco, enthusiastic about his fight, gave Blayz a pat on the back. "Maybe I can show you what I mean too, then! So, what're the rules? No moves? Last 'mon standing?" The Typhlosion began removing his scarf and his goggles, and started stretching in preparation.
"I do need a good fight against someone that can think anyways~ Let me tell you, punching trees as exercise is NOT fun!"
“Well, I wasn’t quite a wrestler or anything like that, but I have been in my share of fights.” The Marowak gripped his forearm and gave the Typhlosion a nod of affirmation. “You can call me Shauna, hon”.

Rocco's eyes glistened as his forearm was suddenly gripped, and he gave a goofy, wide grin at her.
"Y'know what, I like you already ma'am!"
"Another Typhlosion? Heh, the increasing of Typhlosions are real. So tell me, what is the most memorable family moments you've had?"
“You’re tellin’ me! I’m just as surprised to see another Typhlosion!” Rocco smiled brightly, his mood clearly excited. “I hate to say, but I don’t think I have any truly memorable moments when I was with my family.” He said, observing the other Typhlosion and taking note of her unique fur color.
“Let me explain a little bit. I never personally knew my father, and for a while I thought he never existed! I used to think my mother just made my egg poof into existence. Speaking of, I barely have any memories about my mother, too, which is pretty sad. But I do remember her face a bit. Ya’ sort of remind me of her… Not like that’s bad or anything! She was beautiful! Plus you give me some weird motherly vibe, too. ” He nervously chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. “Anyway, once both of my parents had been out of the picture I was adopted by my uncle. But! That’s a story for another time. Can I say it was nice to meet another Typhlosion? Especially one as pretty as you! Do think about comin’ back sometime!”
(askre) Re@Rocco: Hello there. I'm Re. *He seemed very excited.* You're the second typhlosion I've met that isn't family! What do you do around here? Why is your house underground?
Rocco turned his head, a very curious look on his face. "The second? Now I'm wondering who the first was." Rocco walked over to the other Typhlosion, going to pat him in the back. Though he probably did it a bit too hard.
"Well, Re-The name is Rocco by the way-I made my home here ‘cuz it's wide and quiet. Perfect for disrupting the peace and making my home here! I haven't checked to see if there are any neighbors though, but uhh, hoping I suppose." He suddenly pulled out a chocolate bar seemingly out of nowhere, and took a bite out of it. "I don't really do much around here except just trying to finish up the place. I also do some mercenary work." He looked over at Re.
"Y'know, I'm offering my services if you're perhaps interested in the future?~"
Schatz: "Wow, my sweet typhlosion. You really made yourself a cute little hole." Schatz attempted to peer inside being the little curious feline she was. "So, are you almost done fixing this place up? Are you going to let me come in anyway~?"
“D'aww, you flatter me Schatzi.” Rocco quickly jumped and almost literally slid over in front of Schatz, like a baseball player reaching for the ball. “Can’t let you do that, Schatz!” He got himself up off the ground, and bent over to get on eye level with her.
“Silly willy, you’re my best friend, of course, but I’m not gonna let you in right now! That’d be unfair, don’t ya’ think?” Quickly, he flicked her nose in a playful manner. “This place is far from being even half done. But listen; you’re welcome to visit here anytime… But you can’t go inside.” He looked down and smiled at the small Sylveon.
“Deal?”
Out in a rather large and verdant forest clearing, it was your typical sunny morning. The sun would cover nearly the entire glade, with only a small area being engulfed in shadows cast by a group of trees on one side. Near the center of the clearing was a hole with what looked like a staircase going downward. The stairs disappeared into the darkness, making it impossible to see further ahead.
Turning to the left of the entrance, you would see a sign that read “Home of Rocco The Typhlosion”, with a piece of paper stuck at the bottom that also said “Shout before you enter”. It made sense. There didn’t look like a door or anything to keep people out. Suddenly, you would hear footsteps coming from the stairway, and you unsurprisingly saw Rocco himself step outside. “I knew I heard somebody out here!” He clapped his hands together and excitedly grinned, his bright yellow eyes dead focused on you. “I wasn’t really expecting people though, at least not so early. The house ain’t really finished for just anybody to waltz on in yet too. So, could I help you with anything? ‘Cuz if not…” His excited grin would soon drop into a plain, bored expression. “You probably won’t find it very exciting here. Not right now, at least. I don’t really have much time for chit-chat, ya’ get me? But I guess I can let it slide.”
