Marcia: Wait, what's your biggest fear?
Two-Bit: I'm pretty scared of clowns.
Marcia: Clowns?
Two-Bit: You can't trust them, they're always up to something.
Marcia: I'm scared of spiders and insects, Two-Bit has to take them out of the house. I'm also scared of embarrassing myself in front of others, but is that a real fear?
Two-Bit: Oh. Well, I guess I'm scared that people won't like me, or that they'll judge me for the way I look.
What is your favorite thing about each other?
Two-Bit: Her big ol' tiddies. No, my favorite thing about her is her laugh, because it sounds so unique. Her deaf accent is really fascinating, y'know? She's also leagues smarter than me, and she's got the dough. Overall, she's better than me.
Marcia: He's funny and he's not scared to stand up to people. I've seen him do it for his friends, for me and for strangers. I'd say he likes to fight, but I think he likes to protect people and feel needed. He also likes to mouth off people. His wit always amazes me. And, have you seen him? Yeah.
Ask Marcia and Two-Bit some questions!
Marcia: Sandy's been answering a lot of questions, I think it's our time to do the same.
Two-Bit: I'll tell you the answer to the first question: I love Marcy more than I love alcohol.
Marcia: No you don't.
Two-Bit: You're a close second, then.
Marcia: "Is it me? Is it because you don't want kids with me?"
Two-BIt: "Absolutely not! You're the only woman that's tolerated me so long. If I were to have a family with someone, it should be you."
Marcia: "Then what's going on? You don't tell me, you just avoid the question! I want kids! I want to be a mother!"
Two-Bit: "I know, you told me! Listen, are we- are we right? We're amazing at that fun uncle-aunt thing, but parents? We can't run away from responsibility then. I don't know if I can do that."
Marcia: "I...I didn't know you felt that way, because you didn't tell me. It's nothing we can't do. You're the most amazing man I know, and you've got a heart in the right place. You'll be great."

I'm sorry it hasn't been much active recently. There's been a lot of stuff happening recently, namely I wasn't sure how to keep it interesting. I have some plot lines I want to develop, but they feel hard to integrate. I also haven't been drawing a lot recently. I open my sketchbook and nothing comes out. It's just been really hard to jump back in it. I also don't feel as obsessed with the Outsiders as I used to.
This doesn't mean I'll never post on the blog again, I'm just not sure when I'll post again.
Skittles brought back home another illness from the daycare and we've been bedridden for the past few days. Our days consist of waking up every few hours to take medicine, drinking soups, going through boxes of tissues and laying down on the couch, sleeping and or watching TV.
Pony: "I've been waking up in the middle of the night, confused. I look around, and I expect seeing my childhood house, but then I find myself alone, in another city. I don't regret any of my choices, but I certainly miss living with my brothers, and I miss my parents too. Living alone is hard. I should get a roommate."
We went to the park today and there were a couple of kids playing hockey on the ice rink. Skittles joined them and started playing with them and they were really nice with her. They were much older than her, probably 11 yo or something, and they let her pass the puck and do some goals.
One of the kids, the goalie, stayed perfectly still as she slowly, very slowly kicked the puck into the goal and then suddenly fell back with the most dramatic scream I've ever heard.
She spent the rest of the day talking about that game!
Steve: "I can't do it, Soda. Evie keeps whining about how tired she is, but I can't even help her! I feed Feliz, I change him, I clean him, but every time I hold him, he starts crying! My son hates me."
Soda: "Your son doesn't hate you, he's just a baby. What do you do when he starts crying?"
Steve: "I give him back to Evie. Nothing I do comforts him."
Soda: "You should keep trying. Babies want their mom, it's natural, but Feliz has to learn to depend on his dad, too."
Steve: "But nothing I do works, he just keeps screaming his little head off."
Soda: "Just keep trying. Eventually, he'll settle down. And with time, he'll settle faster."
Steve: "If that's what I have to do..."
Soda: "You'll see, it'll pay off."
Marcia: "Have you ever thought about having kids?"
She often offered to babysit her friends kids, and even though she rarely had a chance to, she enjoyed every second of it, even when they were screaming and crying. There was nothing she wanted more than to be a mother.
Two-Bit: "I do, but then I wake up. Hahaha!"
Marcia: "I'm serious! We are the only ones without any children! How come?"
Two-Bit: "Come on, Marcy, don't tell me you want a little snot nosed brat running around? They've got plenty of them, we can just ask to have one for the week-end and then bring it back..."
Marcia: "I don't want to borrow of a kid like a book from the library. Keith, I want a family."
Two-Bit: "Wow, wow, calm down. Let's talk about it first-"
Marcia: "We're talking now. Why are you so against the idea?"
Two-Bit: "Because I like my life as it is. I don't want to slave away, changing diapers."
What is the weirdest thing you’ve witnessed your kiddos do?
The thing with babies and kids is that they're pretty weird. They'll find a way to put anything in their mouth, anything. Mine have eaten dirt, insects, things on the ground, bubbles, diaper rash paste, babies will eat anything. You learn the hard way to absolutely never leave anything in the reach of your kids.
I think they're pretty funny once they start copying you. You realise that you do odd things sometimes. I think it's funny when they're toddlers and they're standing up and eating with their tiny hands from a container while looking at a thing.
I remember Skittles would try to climb on anything she could. She was climbing on stairs and counters before learning how to walk. She also learned how to open doors really early, which became annoying when you were on the toilet.
Pepper likes spinning and rocking back and forth, that's kinda her thing. I wouldn't really call it that weird, I know it's part of her autism. She needs some sort of stimulation, so she gets it from moving.
Dolly still hasn't been able to let her personality shine through, but she's a fat baby that eats a lot. She hasn't understood yet that Soda can't breastfeed her yet and so she tries to latch onto him when they're doing skin to skin. I've seen her do it with Skittles too when she was holding her, but Dolly is still only a few months old.
Kids are weird, but I'm used to it, so I don't find mine particularly weird yet.

"It's Darry's birthday today! He just turned 27. The 30s are approaching pretty quickly. We are gonna eat at his house tonight and ge sais he didn't want anything special for his birthday. I wish he would invite his fishing friends over but they're all busy. Soda insisted on baking him a cake at least."

During family parties, she doesn't like staying with the other kids, they're too loud, so she'll come and climb on our laps."
"Skittles absolutely LOVES taking care of others, so having a younger cousin and two babies with her is like a dream. She likes reading books (she doesn't read quite yet, but she pretends to) to Karen, playing with her and watching her. She also keeps asking to hold the babies and if she can feed them."
