Honestly I think 90% of you guys are here for T1DReader. Which is basically: are you a diabetic or just generally someone mad that diabetics literally never get any screentime ever? Do you love Undertale and especially all the gorgeous skeletons? Then this is for you! I do occasionally have my own headcanons for diabetes in the Undertale multiverse (a big one is healing magic CANNOT cure diabetes because then what's the point of the goddamn fic). Here is a compilation of the basics (can be used if anyone ever wants to use a diabetic reader in their own writing)
The AO3 fic is where I dump all of my drabbles, occasionally connected to each other. I am attempting an actual plot fix but it's. Uh. Coming. Maybe.
Getting some recent traction is T1D SD, or a diabetic reader in the Swapdream multiverse specifically. Grumpy reader who accompanies Swan and repeatedly gets to punch Swad. Will be compiling these into their own fic, Mutual Understanding.
Then my other major fic is sibverse. This is an extremely self indulgent bullshit of throwing as many different versions of the Dreamtale twins and others into a single castle (now with Plot™️)

As someone who grew up in the early eye-strain geocities days of the internet where blinkies, blingees, cranked bright contrast/saturation, and stamps/flashing avatars were EVERYWHERE, just keep in mind how incredibly unsafe it was back then for those of us with epilepsy.
I distinctly remember there being SO FEW websites that were safe for me to use/interact with because of that, and don't even get me started on errors and pop-ups. You can have all the fun you want bringing back the aesthetics that you enjoy, but please don't bring back all the rampant ableism from that era along with it. Ok quick PSA done :]

This is kinda my headcannon/theory for how horror welcomed dust into being a higher ranking soldier— by asking him why he still worships the god that couldn’t save his dead brother :D
I know horrors question could seem completely out of the blue, but so was how quick dust rose in the ranks. of course horror would be curious of the person he’s now going to be fighting alongside (and dust understands)
This is also kinda a prequel to how dust falls deeper into the hallucination that his brother is still alive. in this comic, dust is still aware that the ghost he’s seeing is just his dead brother, but instead chooses to believe that the ghost is a gift from nightmare for not being able to save his brother with the blessing
As the years pass, dust starts seeing the ghost as his actual brother and not a hallucination

So let's talk about Reaper, Dream, and Life. In the original comics, Reaper only has met Life through the moments when tragedy occurs right when Life begins. Toriel, in turn, thinks Death is somewhat of an abomination against her creation. It is, afterall, the reason she ran away from the other Gods in the first place. Then, they learn about each other and fall in love, I recommend reading the comics for more on that. But of course, something goes terribly terribly wrong, and Sans's scythe is stolen by the very first human, who he hesitated to reap and it's used to kill Toriel.
In my comics, Toriel has been brought back, but is slowly returning to full power. The original comics ended on somewhat unresolved with her being upset Sans lied to her, so let's say they're not exactly on great terms right now. But, Reaper, someone always quite cynical, has spiralled since then in terms of his self-perception.
In comes Dream, someone with many of the same characteristics of Toriel, but with the new bonus, that he is automatically excepting of Death right off the bat. No hostility, no fear, just a desire to be Reaper's friend.
There is one problem here, though, and that's how negative Reaper is in general. It's only a matter of time before Nightmare finds them while they're together. But he likes to cause suffering and he likes it to be immense, so what better dagger to drive into Reaper's heart than the looming threat that the more he sees Dream, the more he puts him in danger? What if the same thing happens again? What if he's responsible for the death of EVERYTHING this time? If Nightmare wins, the entire multiverse will slowly crumble until there is simply nothing left, and there will be no revival this time around.
Worse yet, he can't do anything against Nightmare. If Nightmare did appear, what would he do? What could he do? His fear would only make him stronger and Dream weaker. What good is he then?
If you're wondering why Nightmare doesn't have his soul on him, let's say he can break himself apart into various controllable vessels. At the cost of being weaker, it lets him keep his real soul, his one true soul, hidden somewhere Dream can't find it, meaning he can kill Dream and Dream will have a much more difficult time killing him.

Also funny coincidence, right as I was drawing the image of Reaper teleporting away the first time, I read the text under one of the Reapertale comic pages that said: "because sans teleporting away from problems"
