Blog Status -- And Instagram!
So due to a number of things -- mostly a loss of interest and a focus on new ideas -- I think I’m basically calling it a day on this blog.Â
But hey -- that’s not the end for Stella.Â
I have an Instagram now! Y’all should come follow me -- I’m @glass.of.ether over there!
I’m still working on jazzing up a new tumblr so I can finally have a proper art blog that isn’t some kind of secondary blog. It’s under construction now, but my alias there will be glass-of-ether too. Yep, I’ve got red hair now, so I don’t resemble Stella anymore (or was it that she resembled me?), but I can pretend I’m a mermaid!
And don’t worry, I’ll still be drawing Stella and Velvet occasionally. Those two are important characters to me.
Alright, time to make some new projects!

Woo! I got through a super rough semester with two extremely hard classes and 32 hours per week at a retail job, and I managed to do well! And now it’s summer (even though it’s not really going to get that warm for a while here in San Francisco), and a relaxed one at that, so I can finally get back to working on my own stuff and even this blog. I also managed to get out some unfinished prototypes of a couple characters and a location from a new thing I started working on. Something not MLP, and a little bigger. Kind of why I’m wanting to move away from working on the extensive story arc I had planned for this blog. I’ll talk more about that project and its characters when things are more developed and not just a collection of fragments.
You and all those other people realize that "underage" porn of non-human characters isn't prohibited by American law nor Tumblr's guidelines, right? It's fine if you're bothered by it but you shouldn't scare others with inaccurate laws. That said, it is against the law for a minor to view porn of any kind, so that's probably why the blog was deactivated- but consequence cannot be pushed on the artist for that, as Tumblr and Picarto have necessary NSFW protection. Just thought you should know!
Oh yeah, the issue isn't really that their OC is underage. It's that the person is underage and anyone who they paid to draw porn for them unknowingly did something technically illegal.
Warning to Tumblr Pony NSFW Artists
If you have done any porn for the tumblr bakchus-and-notella, please, take it down, and flag their blog and BLOCK them.
It turns out they are underage. Due to this, their OC/ponysona that represents themself in any form you may have drawn will count as porn of an underage individual/minor and will land you in SERIOUS TROUBLE. IMMEDIATELY remove any art you may have done involving their characters, please, and spread this around so no one can end up in trouble because of some brat just wanting to get porn selfishly by lying about his age and not thinking about the consequences.
I was in a chat, and this got shared. They asked if people could share it… so I shared it. Yeah.
Faking your age for porn generally is fine. Like eveyone looked at porn, waaaaaaaay below the legal age.
However, when it comes to art. People can get in trouble for supplying pornographic material those who are under-age. People can get in trouble for drawing under-age characters , talking to underage people about sexual topics, rping sexual stuff, interacting with under-age people in sexual ways. All that stuff
So ya. Its an important thing to share I guess. In case you interact with this person, and they’ve lied about their age.
I try to avoid venturing into drama and just focus on porn but this is totally not cool. Please wait until the legal age before getting lewds from/making them.

Just for an update on this, tumblr actually DID manage to deactivate and delete his account. But it seems he’s just made another account just to get past this and claim he is 20 years old. bakchus-and-notella-shop is the new url of this tumblr.
So now not only is he doing the same shit as before, but ban evading as well. This is getting ridiculous.Â
Same thing as before folks, reblog this please so other artists can know and so no one can get in trouble because of this greedy kid’s desire for porn of their OCs.Â

Change of Pace
Lately I've been losing a lot of interest in whatever the story arc I had planned for this was supposed to be. I'm not sure I want to keep going with that, especially because I simply don't have the time when I'm balancing school and 30 hours a week at work to keep myself afloat. And I've been redirecting my creative energy towards a new idea that I really want to work on developing into something real, hopefully eventually into an animated series or proper comic. I really just want to turn this back into a good old-fashioned ask blog. Whenever I stop being swamped with finals at school, I want to put together some sort of time-lapse comic to get everything to a stable point where I want it to be.
I haven’t animated in ages. Here’s a super quick doodle I did to shake off some rust.

I got super duper sick for the first time in years this past week and now I have to catch up on school.
