It’s Been a While, Hasn’t It haha

Hello, Mod Teck here.

The discord server this ask blog was based from has been inactive for a few months now. As such, this ask blog has been effectively discontinued.

This isn’t necessarily the end of Dark Fuchsia...sort of. I personally am working on a few stories featuring the team. I might not finish all of them (or any of them, haha), but the stories are there. I’m also considering creating a new blog to post said stories, as well as stories ft. other characters I’ve created. Be on the lookout for that.

What are your thoughts on salmon run?

Fry: I mean, I guess it's fine for a part time job, but... well, don't tell the rest of the team, but I used to be friends with some Salmonids before I came up here. Seeing the faces of the Salmonids on the job, I worry that one day, I’ll come across my friends... I only really do it for gear.

Hoodie: It pays well and I get to kill some fish. It’s a win-win, really. Oh, and most of the gear is nice. These rain boots, for example! Although...ah, nevermind.

Grape: I’m not an avid worker for Mr. Grizz, but if I need some extra money I’ll take up a shift. It’s harder than it looks, but the cash is worth it if you can handle the pressure.

Tumeric: It's lots of hard work! It's really tough and honestly kinda stressful, but the feeling of completing a shift is worth it! Plus you can get lots of cool rewards, so I think it's pretty okay.

Camo: Bastards don't leave me alone at home, so murdering them is good for relieving stress.

Denim: It's only fun when I'm with friends. Going with randos is the WORST! The pay's great, but the clothes are... pretty tacky. Ugh.

Half-Sleeve: “...Salmon Run?”

Anchor: I personally enjoy it! Pays nice and sometimes the clothes look quite fresh, but if I’m not with my friends...it’s torture...

Vee: It's a quick way to get cash, but it's an unorthodox method. Although... it does help relieve stress sometimes.

Nylon: It's not that bad... or maybe I've just come to tolerate it too much. Sure, it can have its annoying moments, but the pay makes up for it. Plus, Mr. Grizz is a good boss.

How would everyone do in a physical fight?

Fry and Half Sleeve would both do very well, but for different reasons. Fry's a crafty fighter, and Half Sleeve is durable and skilled due to training in the Octarian army and being a former Elite Octoling.There’s also the fact that Fry uses the Kensa Dynamo, which probably says something about her power...

Hoodie is strong and very tough, so she’d do well in a fight most of the time. She’s also trained in boxing and wrestling, so that helps. However, her below-average speed and varying luck do hold her back somewhat.

Grape can take on most people her size, but she’ll get wrecked by anyone larger and/or stronger than her. Her thing isn’t durability; a few good hits on her and she’ll be out cold.

Tumeric knows how to fight but she isn’t very strong. She can block all she wants but she’s not extremely fast either. How well it goes depends on the strength and speed of her opponent.

Camo is well...Camo. Fighting her is ill-advised.

Denim goes all out to pummel the shit out of someone, so if they can endure her fucking relentless attacks she'll tire herself out sooner or later.

Anchor's roller training towards using the Gold Dynamo Roller has made her able to hold her own for a bit, but she would still probably lose. She needs more training h

Vee's specialty is speed and agility, so she’s more focused on dodging and attacking in quick bursts to wear her enemy down. More often than not she can win because she knows exactly where to hit to incapacitate her opponent in less than a minute.

So, how is everyone? Anything big happen?

Fry: It’s been quite a while, hasn’t it…Well, I’ve started dating Rider. That’s pretty big, I guess? Also, my sister’s a big lesbian. Recent development.

Half-Sleeve: Shut up, Fry. 

Half-Sleeve: Anyway, I’ve learned a lot about stars recently; they’re pretty interesting.

Denim: Uh, Camo’s somewhere else at the moment. Probably giggling at gamer memes.

Hoodie: Of course she is…

Grape: Oh, right! We participated in a tournament in April, and we actually won! That was fun.

Tumeric: I’ve been getting better at Ranked: I managed to get to A- in Tower Control!

Anchor: Nothing much here, really. I’m just getting used to being on the team!

Vee: ….

so, what are the team's favorite mythical creatures?

Fry and Hoodie both have Dragons as one of their favorites. 

Hoodie also likes Gargoyles and Hydras.

Grape likes mythical creatures associated with the sea, especially Kelpies.

Tumeric’s favorite mythical creature is the Phoenix.

Camo’s favorite is the Hydra.

Half-Sleeve likes Unicorns.

Anchor loves Centaurs!

Vee’s favorite mythical creature is the Gryphon/Griffin.

I got….um, very sick, and I haven’t completely recovered from it, but I’m trying. The team seem like OK people, although I can’t bring myself to talk to anyone except Camo yet. But everyone is really nice! I main the ‘O-Matic series, but my Neo Sploosh is my baby. I’m excited to finally be a part of something!”

Hiya everyone! This is the new mod, Mod Ace!

What are everyone's tics? Like, shit they just do subconsciously without realizing it

Fry tends to tap her foot and sway her arms back and forth. 

Hoodie rubs the back of her neck and lightly scratches at the left side of her jaw. Also, she chews a lot of gum.

Grape’s tic is shifting her weight from one foot to the other.

Tumeric has quite a lot of tics. She shifts her weight often, rolls her neck, cracks her fingers, chews on her claws, and just can’t sit still in general, to name a few.

Camo also has plenty of tics: She tends to push her glasses up, she tightens her gloves when she’s wearing them, has her hands in her pockets constantly, and taps her foot. When she’s pissed, her eyes twitch.

Denim twirls her side bang, plays with the hem of her shirt, and taps her feet.

Anchor tends to jolt at random times. She also has a tendency to chew on whatever she’s holding at the time. She’ll chew on anything. This includes her Roller….or her Dualies…uhhh…….

Vee adjusts her gloves and mask periodically, picks at her claws, and cracks her knuckles.

Who's the biggest disaster on the team?

The short answer is that just about everyone on the team is a disaster in their own way.

The long answer....Well....

Fry can be very oblivious of her own feelings at times. Also, as the leader, she allows her teammates to do some wild stuff.

Hoodie is a “danger magnet.” As in, she often finds herself in crazy situations without even trying.

Tumeric is naive! Very naive! Like, holy shit—

Denim is actually incapable of taking anything seriously!

Anchor is a confused disaster that can’t choose one person to love. Also, she can barely carry the weapon she mains.

Camo isn’t a “disaster” disaster; she’s an actual disaster. As in, like a fucking hurricane. She can and will kill you if she felt like it.

...Also, she doesn’t sleep.
