You aren't quite sure how you got here, or by what means, and yet here you stand. The room isn't large, but it's comfortable enough that you find yourself at ease. A rather comfortable looking chair is sat beside the crackling fireplace, a small table at its side. A vase of lively, elegant red roses sits atop its surface. The carpet boasts a deep red and golden pattern, laid over a wooden planked floor that doesn't creak as one would expect it to. The walls are decorated with various bits of art, most of which depicting scenes of nature. A single door sits just a few steps away from you, although you don't recall walking through it. All this, and not a speck of dust to be seen.
Suddenly, you hear the doorknob turn, and the door swings open with a soft click. A figure approaches, only to pause as he notices you. Black, pointed ears twitch from amongst a mass of wavy, dark grey hair. Streaks of white bangs brush just over his forehead, and just above a pair of sharp crimson eyes. He was dressed formally, a crisp tuxedo fitting neatly over his lean frame. A white-tipped tail dangled behind him. After a brief moment of observation, he spoke, his voice smooth and polite.
"Ah, hello. My apologies, I wasn't expecting any guests."
He leans forward, and you realize he's bowing to you. As he stands back upright, he gives you a pleasant smile.
"My name is Lazu, at your service."
