Intro Post!
I run the blog @ask-zote-the-mighty . I made this blog to talk about that blog. I will comment on asks, discuss lore, and just post about whatever. Follow this blog if you want to see what it's like to be Zote the Mighty.
Probably gonna start just responding to random posts as @ask-zote-the-mighty to be more in line with what he does in the game (just shouting at random people walking by), so if you want Zote to respond to a post, feel free to either send him the post (dms are always open) or tag him, otherwise it'll just be whatever posts tickle my fancy.
Inspired by @the-fifty-seven-precepts-of-zote , another Zote blog who does the same thing.

First chapter of the fic is out now!! It’s the first three logs in one, but the next logs I will upload when they are done.
As you may know, I am writing a fanfic about the lore behind the blog. I have been making good progress and should release what I have on the 20th (when I can actually get an AO3 account)
It will follow the Translator, a mysterious entity that has been following Zote around in secret and making him answer user submitted questions that it has translated into the language of the bugs. The fic will be in to format of a series of logs reporting what the Translator sees. I've been writing them in real time, and whatever I wrote becomes canon to the blog as soon as I write it down. I got bored today, so here's a potential design of the Translator!
I haven't really settled on what the translator will be, but one possibility is that it's a sort of probe sent from our world. It has a camera for a face, hundreds of tiny legs, two arms, and a radio broadcaster/reciever to remain in contact with the human world.

I thought of that! It can retract its tail, head, and arms to look like an isopod! Also all those tiny legs can move really quickly and quietly when they want to.

Just finished the first little bit of my companion fic! I can't publish it yet because (as I just learned today) it can take up to 12 days to get an AO3 account. But it's done! In a Google doc! When I get an account, I will publish it under the title "The Translator's Records"

I wanna write a fic about Zote from the perspective of a mysterious being known as "the Translator." The Translator is the entity that canonically runs @/ask-zote-the-mighty, by sending him messages and then translating his responses to English and posting them to tumblr. Also it would be a Zote x THK fic because I wanna write about some headcanons I have for THK. For this I was inspired by @queruloustea s Quirrel x THK fic but idk how to write Quirrel. The fic would basically be a way to expand upon the lore of the blog and an excuse for me to keep writing Zote even when I have no asks on the blog.
@spacecat902 literally my first ever ask on the blog was about the Grimm troupe. So far, I have gotten two grim troupe asks. It is one of very few repeat asks I have ever gotten.
I'm still gonna answer it because my Zote impression has changed a lot since then.

Those loud, squeezing behemoths? Never! They have been sealed off since before I arrived in this kingdom, and have only been activated recently. They are so loud, riding one would be like announcing my presence to every bug and beast in a 12 mile radius! I would be trapped signing autographs for ages! How horrid a thought.
