Dottie had a worried expression on her face as she made her way through crowds of people, unsure of where she was going but she knew she wanted to be standing again. This proved to be difficult for the Piranha considering she was most likely the shortest one here. Dottie had to admit she was a bit discouraged, the only people she had talked to since she had arrived was the bouncer and the bartender, everyone else was an unfamiliar face.
She stopped in her tracks when she noticed a familiar tuft of green hair a few feet away from her. Could it be? Someone she actually knew? Upon closer inspection her suspicions were correct and she wasted no time in shouting, “Wendy!!!” she exclaimed gleefully, running full force and hugging the leg of her much taller friend. “Oh my! It’s so wonderful to see you, I had no idea you would be here!!!”
“DOTTIE!!!” He removes her from his leg and picks her up, crushing her in a big hug. “Oh Dotties it’s been a while I missed ya gal, how ya been? Get up to much? Or well, down to much.” Wendy starts rambling “Hows Susie, you know the couch- they miss me? I bet they do, I need to come over and visit, see how our kids Carl and Steve the couch cushions are"
“Hehehehe! I’ve missed you too, Wendy!” She began, her voice muffled due to the much larger Piranha’s death hug, which she didn’t mind. “-Oh, I’ve been great! Working at the boutique as usual, you know, the usual!” Dottie giggled, recalling when he has named her couch and cushions. She never found that odd, just quirky, which is exactly why she loved having Wendy for a friend in the first place. “They’re doing splendidly, oh gosh, it would be so great if you could come over and visit! It’s been too long, really!!”
