It was never surprising to see the Queen in a foul mood with a distasteful expression on her sharp features, though the cause of her rotten behavior this time was over a game where she had not played her cards right. Sure, she did not lose anything of real value, but her pride was hurt in a way. She knew she would recover in little to no time, until then she was going to treat herself to a drink at the bar. Which is exactly what she did, taking a seat for herself.

Dottie prided herself in being a very sociable and friendly person, she could talk to virtually anyone which deemed convenient for many situations, including the one she was in at this very moment. She had hoped coming to this party she could put herself out there more and maybe make a few friends. However, upon her arrival she felt herself getting cold feet when she realized she knew nobody here. At least, not as far as she could tell.

Ok so who DO you actually ship everyone with?

(*NERVOUS SWEATING*)

Ok, ok, ok look…. this is a tough question because I have a lot of secret ships that I’ll probably never do anything with, but I have considered aus or such in which they could take place. And to be honest in most of these cases I just want Goombert or Bella to argue with the shipmate in question. So by shipping I mostly mean I want these characters to either be friends/to argue/or to hook the hell up. I will not specify which ship is which. All I will say is that IN THE VERY LEAST just having them interact makes me happy ;u;

In no particular order, here are my secret ships past/present/future tense:

Goombert: 

Goomberic - Superior officer, handsome charmer, and respected comrade who is closer than family >u>

Booatrice/Roboort - The cutest coworkers anyone could ask for with just the right amount of kindness and mischief… Plus the anime-enabling helps too.

Bullet Bill - Omg superior troopa strategist with an appearance sharp enough to cut diamonds? Uhhh, move over Bert I’ll take this one if you don’t. (Additionally Bert is such a loyal soldier, he would be the Hawkeye to Bill’s Roy Mustang)

Waluigi-  Look rivalries and hate ships give me strength and I would love to see Wah and Bert compete for things more often. Like two frequently stepped on and over looked players who deserve their moment in the spotlight? LET THEM FIGHT FOR IT.

Luigi - Same hate-ship principle plus I love the tension these two would have to over come to accept each other for who and how they are.

Peasley- The past tense ship that exists on in an AU with that mischievous daughter of theirs. Peasley taught Bert so much, and the face that he still keeps his hair long is testament to that.

Coracle- Ok look I know I’ve never mentioned it before but I’ve thought about it before and like if Bert existed in the Cutie universe of characters he would totally be devoted to Coracle due to her royal heritage. However he would have to make the difficult choice of choosing her or the King once she created the Cutie Kingdom, but in some AUs he chooses her kingdom and stays on as her guard and and and I’m a sucker for guards falling for their charges I’m sorry ;u;

Midbus - BECAUSE WHAT HAPPENED DURING THAT VACATION??

Bleck - because them fighting gives me life and Bleck is just so gosh dang dashing.

Bowser- because who the hell DOESN’T

Princess Peach- BECAUSE IT’S SO FORBIDDEN AND OH THE ANGST AS THE TWO UNLEARN THEIR PREJUDICES AND LEARN TO APPRECIATE ONE ANOTHER

Ember- because that underboob was immaculate and haunts Bert’s dreams

Max: Is he even a thing anymore? Either way I hella shipped those two back when he and Bert were lazy army couch buddies.

Goombella:

Flavio - I’m starting to consider this more legitimately day by day because their adventure ship really added to them both, and the little lemon tart has turned into a surprising force to be reckoned with. I know I joked about it a lot before, but this becoming more of a romantic ship is actually not off the table.

Mario - Because Bella’s unrequited love for him still exists in a milder platonic form now. She cares for him, but she knows that Mario is meant for more than just one person. He is dedicated to the world and to his role as the hero and she has come to respect that.

Nate- Because these two are some of the biggest sinners that I know, and they embrace it completely. It’s concerning how well they work off each other, tbh.

Tulio - *sobs* It was cute while it lasted and I appreciate their continued mutual respect and friendship with one another. Tulio was an important chapter in Bella’s life and she feels bad that she wasn’t as invested as he was in everything, but thus is life. He is still very important to her.

Vivian- Soft spoken and sweet to a fault, I imagine Vivs benefits greatly from Bella’s bold outspoken nature. The two complement each other, and I like to think that Vivian helps Bella calm down, while Bella helps Viv embrace things more confidently. Plus I like to think that soft spoken Vivian secretly has a raunchy mind and likes to use such lines as “I’ll go down to your shadow realm“ or “I’ll light your fire~”

Ms. Mowz- In my version of Ms. Mowz I like to think the two are in a Carmen Sandiego type competition and that Bella is perpetually two steps behind Mowz as she tries to keep her archaeologic finds from being ruined. It’s cat and mouse between the two, and I imagine Mowz enjoys teasing Bella just as much as Bella secretly enjoys encountering the thief.

Grubba because his grudging hate ships give me life

Red- this one is new but it makes me smile whenever I see it brought up. We’ll see how it goes and take it from there.

D͎̳̜̮̽ͩ̍ͭō̶̅̐̆̾̂o̔̊͒͒ͨ͏̯̭̪p͖̭l̖͔ͦ̇ͨͯ͊ͫ͢i̙͕ͥ̉͋̑s̠͕̗͛́s̛͉̘̮̱͕ͤ͑ͦ- I … uh… Look ok there is definitely nothing physical being shipped here, but the way their minds work off each other is a thing of beauty. Although they oppose each other on so many ends, the two do actually have a lot in common. They see past the 4th wall and are great at reading others, including each other. At the end of the day the two respect the others insight, and that right there is the most that I want from a ship.

I was trying to do Bowser’s staff but I couldn’t think of anyone for that last spot cause lets face it Pom wouldn’t sit like that even if you paid her. So Rosalina got slotted. ))
