It’s technically an island. 100% surrounded by water on all sides!

I was 5 minutes away from the ocean where I used to live thank god

There really was no point in owning a car, you could walk everywhere and still get there relatively quickly!

The boardwalk was the best in the summer, there is tons of food, two amusement parks, aannnnddd a water park.

It used to have a train station going from one end of the island, to the other!~

Honestly, for Audrey, it’s little things. Audrey seems like the type of person to leave a gift and then get really embarrassed when asked about it, so if that happened...

Dahlia would probably love it even more. And Audrey’s reaction would probably make it worse. Audrey has that adorable atmosphere with her, so I think Dahlia would just like her on principle. And then of course, Audrey not judging her for still being a Nipper plant, would definitely be a plus.

{ Dahlia has a thing for helping out people, even if she seems reluctant to do so. She also has this thing for wanting to help inspire confidence in those she feels deserves it. (mostly everyone deserves confidence in themselves, but not when they’re conceited. That’s what I mean)

The small woman had just entered, and already she was overwhelmed. The room was enormous, and it had taken all she had to throw herself together.

She stumbled a bit over towards the bar, not really used to her heels anymore.

At least, she thought she stumbled over to the bar. Oh, that was actually a person.

“Ah, sh*- Sorry, there, can’t see where I’m goin’, IswearI’mnotdrunkI-” She cut off, lookin’ at the Koopa in front of her.

“They… let you in? Aren’t you a lil’ young?” She had addressed Koops, fidgeting with her front collar a bit, irritated. “Can’t believe my luck, fricken bull-” She cut off, pursing her lips at the Koopa.

“Didn’t mean to bump into ya, kid, but would ya move? Walkin’ here.”

“Ya in the wrong place for this then! This place is packed with games and drinks, I’m surprised you and others were here! Though, I guess I can’t complain. Makes it easier to spot ya and where you guys shouldn’t be.” She eyed some others the distance, noticing Goombella and Flurrie.

“You with them? Ya seem in the same crowd.”

Dahlia couldn’t stand on her feet any longer. She needed another drink to calm her nerves and again she was left to wander. It was weird, usually Frida was around to introduce her to everybody. Why the heck had she come?

The Nipperplant looked around, spotting one of the waiters on a stool at the bar, and she wandered over, trying to sound casual.

“....Hey, ya one of the party staff, right? You on break or somethin’?” She noticed the lack of tray in his hands, before smiling at him.

“Didn’t mean to startle ya or nothing, I was honestly hopin’ for another drink!” She snorted, shuffling her purse to her other hand and sitting next to him. “I think I took one from ya earlier. Ya don’t forget hair like that. That natural?” She pointed towards his forehead, crooked smile never leaving her face.
