I guess this does require an explanation. This blog was my baby. It brought me to so many wonderful people with whom I've formed great friendships, and I've tried my best to keep it alive but ultimately couldn't. I just fell out of love with MLP, and I knew at the time my other art, out of my comfort zone, would've been a risk. Mind you this was back when the community was much more toxic, I can vividly remember all the hate that I got when I posted that one fan service pic with Berry and Big Mac. So I kept on trying, I had ideas, not for a story but hopefully for compelling characters, that ended up not coming to life. I didn't lose the passion I had for them, I just couldn't use the MLP crutch anymore, and that lead to feeling insecure, which lead in turn to not posting anymore.
All the art that I've made between that period of time and now has mostly never been seen, not even by my friends, if I can get a hold on something from my backups I'll put it up.
To top it all off, I've been without a computer for more than a year now, as my old laptop finally kicked the bucket and I can't afford a desktop yet, which is what I'm aiming for to make sure it has a better chance of lasting more than 8 years. That poor computer I had, it held on until it could not anymore, and I feel like a desktop is the best choice. Doing everything on a phone is hELL.
I don't know what will happen to this blog. Once I get a new rig I just might do something with it, just not MLP. I have to find the right thing for it.
However, I find it is absolutely incredible that even after all this time you guys are still here, I appreciate it a great deal. :)
