I’m not dead! I’ve just been a bird for a while.

Heeey guys. Wow, I’ve been gone for way too long! But I’m still around, I swear! It’s just my dreamer got really into the new Pokemon games and I got dragged along for the ride. And if you’re wondering about the title of this post and the weird appearance... go check out @chronicles-of-tajiria, I’m now on there as well. Yeah, turns out there’s a new bird Pokemon in Sun and Moon that Jess caught and named after me and now I get to be on her Pokejinka blog too. Hooray!

“Thank you,” the Navy Gen smiled. “It isn’t very often that others comment on my playing.”

He casually approached and extended a hand. “I’m Euclase, though most tend to call me Somnus.”

Calypso took Somnus’ hand and smiled as well. “Nice to meet ya,” she said cheerfully. “I’m Calypso–er, technically Fuchsia, I guess, but almost no one calls me that regularly. I almost forget it myself sometimes.” She laughed.

“It’s nice to meet you, too,” Somnus chimed cheerfully.

“I was just on my way back home after a long day and all. Care to join me on this walk?”

“Sure thing,” Calypso said. “I was just gonna wander around today anyway. Never been to Navy before, so I don’t really know the cool places yet.”

Calypso had been wandering the realms on a whim, making her way towards Navy. It was the first time she had gone to the Navy Realm, not counting the times when she’d passed through on the way to see Darciluz. On her way there, she began to hear a sound. It was music, soothing and beautiful.

She approached the sound of the music with great interest, eventually coming across a rather tall Navy gen playing an instrument. “Oh wow,” she said to herself. Apparently the Navy had heard her, as he turned around upon her utterance. She felt somewhat embarrassed when he noticed her, and she realized that she could possibly have been seen as eavesdropping.

“Um, you play good!” she said, trying to save face.

So the other night I finally had a dream with Calypso in it (details here if you’re curious) and decided to draw her in the sweet robo armor she was wearing. It was very Megaman-esque, which I find odd because I’m not even into Megaman. XD

Vendetta (For both Bilbo and Calypso) Since Homestuck has ended, does that mean the self updating physical book will stop updating now? And as an addendum; How are you two handling the news of Act 7?

Mantis: It would seem so. Unless there’s some sort of epilogue, of course. As for our reactions to the ending, as well as Darciluz’s because they like to read the updates with us…

Mantis: It was nice, albeit a bit ambiguous, which honestly was probably the best direction an end for something like this could go.

Calypso: It’s kinda hard to accept that it’s just…over, y’know?

Mantis: Every story has to end at some point.

Calypso: Ash Ketchum has been ten for 20 years.

Mantis: …Every good story has to end at some point.

Calypso: Oh, come on! Rude!

Darciluz: So since it’s over, no one really needs this book anymore, right? You guys don’t mind if I test the bulletproofing that a book this thick might have, do ya?

Oh hey, I’m not dead! I’ve just been helping Jess wrangle some big things she’s working on. Gettin’ her next original stories ready to properly start, putting together character bios for another blog, that sort of thing. Hmm, I’m tempted to promo that blog...but I don’t think she’s far enough with its preparations to start actually promoting it yet so I won’t. Also I don’t know how many people following me are into Pokem--ooops, did I just almost say what it was about WOOPS X3
