I just found a tv show called Houdini & Doyle! It’s about a magician (Harry Houdini!!!) and writer (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle!!!) solving (unsolved, inexplicable, and possibly supernatural) crimes… I thought of Kudo Shinichi and Kuroba Kaito!!!! Hahaha… /sneaksawaybeforeshot

DCMK fandom PSA: You guys need to give this show a try. Watch a couple episodes.

It’s practically made for DCMK fans who are fond of Victorian flavored stories. The show is inspired by the real life friendship between Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Harry Houdini. The leading lady is a police officer. The acting is great, the stories are fun, and it’s just an all around charming show. The mysteries are not as difficult to figure out as some of Aoyama’s mysteries but it’s still a blast to watch things unfold. Of course it’s not 100% historically accurate, artistic liberties are taken, it’s not a biography or anything but it’s a fun story idea that no doubt will entertain many of those who also enjoy the odd friendship between Conan and Kaito.
