It's been a While...

I’m the shittiest person in the world for not posting on here in… well… forever. I feel really bad about that and I am so sorry! Truth is, I have other commitments in my life that take priority over this blog. I was selected for the national junior swim team and have been fully committed to my sport. I honestly haven’t had any time to even log on to Tumblr. To be honest, this will probably be my last post on this blog. I want to thank everyone who made my time on Tumblr enjoyable. I enjoyed being here and communicating with all of you very much, and will miss that. I now have my sights set high, on the Olympics in four years time. This blog brought me so much joy and its heart breaking to leave it behind me. Thank you, everyone so so much. This community, all of you, are such beautiful and kind people. I wish you all the best in your travels. Once again, I apologise for all this. Thank you for making my time on Tumblr fun. I love all of you a lot! I guess this is goodbye? Kia Kaha, my friends :)

Thoughts on "This Song Saved My Life" by Simple Plan?? Every time I hear it on my phone, I think of your flashback in the show. ;3

So I'd never heard of this song before, but now that I've listened to it, I have a few things to say.First of all, absolutely beautiful lyrics. Simple, yet powerful. I felt that anyone listening to the song could instantly relate the song to something or someone in their life. The lyrics really reach the listener in a very direct way. Whilst scrolling the comments of this song on Youtube, I noticed that a lot of people were dedicating it to things, or, people in their life, which is, ultimately a very heart warming thing to see. If you listen or have listened to the song, I think you will understand what I mean. While it is a very gentle and up lifting song to listen to, Musically, the use of Instruments and tune were quite bland and forgetable. The vocals were good but didn't really offer anything special or unique. The lyrics were what saved this song from becoming something boring and ordinary. But yeah. Those are my thoughts on "This Song Saved My Life", by Simple Plan
