Here’s some choice wip panels I had for an embalmer comic that was gonna be 7+ pages long

I gave up halfway through bc I knew I was gonna keep adding on more pages in between pages etc. essentially it was going to be about embalmers childhood, his mentor, grief and his passion in honoring the dead

#identity v #idv #ooc #it was actually a rlly nice comic but there were bits that involved dialogue and I struggle the most with writing dialogue so that killed it #one but that I liked abt the comic developement is that embalmer originally struggling to look ppl in the face despite his profession #then learning to overcome it as the comic progressed and coming to terms with preserving life rather than focusing on the dead #it essentially is a retcon of the original story but with a little bit more struggle with mental illness #add that with grief and hoh boy you got a boy who’s very confused
