Chapter 4 Jamming through jealousy

@kittyundercover1 @happinessismagicc @redgearsmovin (sorry for always tagging just gotta make sure yall get notified for these whenever they post)

two chapters in one day I’m feeling great! Inside out there might be a possible animatic or sketch coming soon. But here we have the fourth chapter of my fresh beat band meets the Imagination Movers fanfiction. What to say jealousy is bitten Rich much harder than one would expect. (if you find it out of character well I’m experimenting. With stuff so please give it a chance.)

The fresh beats, Nina, and the movers now back in their respective outfits all are enjoying themselves getting to know one another and catching up. Everybody’s laughing and smiling… well everyone except for Rich, he’s still not used to the fresh beats and is against them.

Smitty: Haha, so what happened!? You were we’re so excited that they ha~

Shout: My legs went loco. I had loco legs. 

Dave: How do loco legs work? I mean I’ve gotten super duper excited and my legs haven’t gone ‘loco’

Scott: What does loco even mean?

Kiki: Loco is Spanish for crazy, it fits well for a name.

Rich: Well that's cool, but can cuckoo legs really top any great idea I’ve had?

Twist: Actually Rich, it’s loco legs.

Rich: That's what I said, wacky legs.

Rich crosses his arms as his cheeks puff up. 

Nina: I’m so glad my two sets of best friends are all together and you guys like the same things, singing, dancing, playing music.

Rich: But!.. Us the imagination movers are cooler as we’ve been your friends longer and don’t make up random stuff about legs going crazy. We even wrote a song about you!

Shout: it’s all true though, Nina was there when it happened it’s kind of hard to explain.

Nina: Yeah, it was quite the time, BUT Rich I will say, I think having all my best friends together is what makes me super happy and excited! This day is gonna be awesome now that we’re all here~

Nina’s legs begin to move and wiggle out of control, she spins around and dance across the room unable to stop herself from whatever’s going on.

Nina: Woah!!!!! Wahooo!!!!

Rich: All right, very funny Nina, you can stop now. It’s a cute little inside joke but I get it.

Nina: hahaha , the funny thing is Rich, I can’t stop! 

She dances in place, unsure of what to do.

Dave: I’ve got just the thing. 

Dace takes his hat off and digs through it finding an invention. As he scans her leg.

Dave: according to my dance-a-torn. Your legs are in an excited dancing mood, they’re going crazy… no. They’re..

Fresh Beats: Loco!

Nina: Wow, this is what loco legs are like! Fun. But how do I stop!?

Rich: ha another idea emergen~

Shout: hold on! No emergency there, this is what I call fun. Watch.

Shout begins to spin his arms and wiggle his legs as if he had loco legs.

Scott: OH NO,  IT'S CONTAGIOUS! We’ve gotta call a doctor! Is there a doctor in the warehouse!?

Kiki: relax Scott, there’s only one way to get loco legs to go away.

Scott: drinking a glass of water like you do for hiccups?

Twist: no, you dance! Whaddaya say we jam these loco legs away!

Twist pulls out his headphones and rapidly grabs the fresh beats instruments from the car bringing them into the idea warehouse. Scott gets on his keyboard, Dave grabs his bass, Smitty grabs his guitar. Rich sits aside with a ticked faced the mood to play music.

Smitty: Aren't you gonna jam with us Rich?

Rich: No thanks. I don’t feel like it right now thank you very much.

They shrug as they begin playing the song. Marina starts on the drums, Kiki and Smitty start playing their guitars as Dave gives a bass line,

Twist: oh! And guys we need dancing! Lots and lots of dancing!!!

 All: Loco, go-go. Loco, go-go.

Shout: When you just got up and you gotta get down...

Fresh Beats: That's loco legs!

Shout: When your toes are tappin' all over town...

Imagination Movers (minus Rich): You've got loco legs!

Shout: When you're tryin' to chill but you can't sit still...

Fresh Beats: That's loco legs!

Shout: When the beat in your feet wiggles your seat...

Imagination Movers (minus Rich): You've got loco legs! Shout, Kiki, Twist, Marina, Nina, Dave, Scott, and Smitty all start dancing together letting their legs go ‘loco’.

Shout: When your feet don't stop, when your hips go hop... when your limbs in limbo and your flips are flop... when your belly wiggles, jelly jiggles, and your body giggles… All: Ahhh... Kiki plays her violin as Dave and Scott do si do to her upbeat solo.

Kiki, Marina, Nina: Ooh! Ooh!

Twist: You try to chill, you wanna sit still, but the beat repeats in the soles of your feet. There's a rhythm in the jiggle and it keeps puttin' giggles in your belly and a wiggle in your seat! You can't chill, you can't sit still 'cause you got, you got, you got, you got...

All: Loco legs!

Twist: Said you can't chill, no, you can't still 'cause you got, you got them loco legs!

All: Loco legs!

Shout: When your head is bobbin' and your fingers snappin'...

All: That's loco legs!

Shout: We got… (We got, we got, we got loco legs!) All: We got, we got loco legs! Nina’s legs finally begin to relax as she’s finally calming down. As they all high five and laugh. Warehouse mouse even pretends to dance with loco legs as he loved the beat! Nina: ahhh, just like old times! That was super fun! Smitty: Check it out! Warehouse Mouse has loco legs!

warehouse Mouse: Me got me got me gots woco wegs! They all laugh as Rich crosses his arms continuing to pout annoyed, he really isn’t in the mood to join in on any actual fun I guess

Nina: Come on Rich, have some fun, let your legs loose, go loco! Grab your scribble sticks and join us! Its not the same without you

Rich: No! NO! NO! And I don’t think it’ll be the same if you replace us! I’m going to my thinking space, I need some time to myself… UGH. 

Nina: Replace you??? Rich thats not~

He storms off into the hall mumbling a bunch of stuff in complete jealously, the others don’t know if they should go after him.

Scott: eh, don’t worry, ‘Richie’ doesn’t always take kindly to new people, he gets jealous easily.

Rich (across the hall): DON’T CALL ME THAT!!!!

Nina: sheesh… please tell me you don’t just have pet names for everybody.

Scott hides a notepad full of them behind his back as he whistles nonchalantly as if he didn’t have it out. Rich goes to his room to contemplate as he sits at his desk looking at a photo, it's of him, Dave, Smitty, Scott, Warehouse Mouse, and Nina when they first met her. Rich tears up at the photo.

Rich: I’m not gonna let them take our best friend away from us, Nina is our friend, not those guys, I’m a much better drummer and mover than they are, and they can’t replace me.. We’re just as cool if not cooler, and I’ll prove it.

Rich puts on a determined face, ready to do what he thinks is a smart idea.

chapter 3

Chapter 3 Get up get down and meet!

Chapter 3 of my fresh beat band meets the imagination movers fanfiction. We finally get to some interesting bits along with Rich showing a side one wouldn’t usually think of. Enjoy!

The fresh beats keep driving as the tracker seems to get a hard signal, it stops working.

Marina: What!? No!

The device dies on them losing power.

Shout: and we were hot on the trail.. now what can we do?

Twist: Kiki can I see that real quick.

Kiki: uhh sure.

Twist puts the device to his nose and begins sniffing it up and down. The other fresh beats look at him confused and slightly disgusted as he sniffs the air and points forward.

Twist: that way!!!

Marina shrugs and starts driving in the direction Twist somehow got a scent from. Back at the idea warehouse Nina’s uncle Knit Knots comes into the place with a beige box as he has a gift of anything unexciting inside.

Knit Knots: hello Nina. Movers… I thought I’d come over and bring you some boringly boring~ Good gracious! Your clothes they’re so… colorful… It's too much. What on earth happened.

Smitty: apparently they got their outfits swapped.

Knit knots: why is he talking to a clock…

Nina: no glasses.

Knit Knots: well I’m not going to stick around and look at these brightly colored eyesores. I’m going back to painting my wall beige.

He walks out flustered while the movers shrug and think of other ideas. As they are out of any clues on what to do they sit down and just sigh.

Rich: I guess we should just wait for a customer and get on with our day.. 

Nina: I don’t know why, you guys in those outfits remind me of somebody I know… it’s on the top of my tongue! I just can’t remember..

Meanwhile the fresh beats are still driving all around. Twist is all sniffed out as his nose is red and he needs a break.

Twist: too… tired…. Need…. A new…. Plan……..

Shout: I know we’re close guys. We’ve got to find whoever’s outfits these belong to and get our outfits back!

Kiki: He’s right. There’s no problem we can’t solve!

[no problem begins]

All: Uh-oh! Oh no! Whatcha say? Uh-oh! Uh-oh! Oh no! Things are kinda tricky!

Shout: Got a situation that needs some resolving.

Marina: You say you've got a puzzle that needs some solving.

Kiki: What do you do when things aren't going right?

All: Put our heads together, and we'll see it through.

When nothin' seems to be going right!

There's no problem we can't solve if we put our heads together and get involved!

There's no problem we can't solve if we put our heads together and get involved! The fresh beats are driving down a neighborhood lane and see some people Fan #1: OMG ITS THE IMAGINATION MOVERS! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! Fan 2: Can we get a picture??? Kiki: Uhh we’re not the imagination movers…. Whoever they are. We're the fresh beat band! I’m Kiki! Marina: I’m Marina! Shout: names Shout! Twist: And I’m Twist! Fan #3: … Okay…. Weird you dress exactly like the imagination movers… Shout: Maybe these were the guys Melody was talking about… Can you tell us where we can find these Imagination Mover guys?

Fan # 2: Oh that's easy, keep driving straight, make a right and you’ll see the Idea warehouse! They’re great, you can’t miss it. Kiki: Thank you so much! Marina: Yeah you guys were a great help! The fresh beats drive off in the direction as at the warehouse, Nina is still thinking about the people the movers remind her of as she paces around thinking aloud, as there's a ring of the doorbell. Smitty: a customer!? Dave: THEY CAN’T SEE ME LIKE THIS! He runs off to go hide behind something in embarrassment as the other side eyed him. Rich: It's open, come on in! The door opens as the fresh beats walk in, they gasp seeing their outfits and so do the movers seeing their jumpsuits. Scott: Hey! You’re the guy I saw at the dry cleaners. Twist: oh yea. Nina: Hey guys, I think I might have an idea on~ GAAASP. Could it be…? Am I dreaming… The fresh beats also gasp as they see her. Shout: hold on… Kiki: it can’t be…. Marina: Nina….? Nina: Twist…. Kiki… Marina…. Shout!!! She squeals happily running over as they all do the fresh beat cheer. Fresh Beats and Nina: Ohhhhh, Woah! Kiki: look at you rocking pink and polkadots! I see you took some of my style advice! Twist: Did you get taller??? Nina: Not too much! Ha, and yeah pink really looks good on anybody. The movers are confused and Rich is slightly jealous watching them.. Rich: Care to introduce us to your friends Nina?.. Nina: Oh right! Movers, these are my old friends Marina, Kiki, Twist, and Shout, the Fresh Beat Band!

Rich: HAHAHAHAHA!… oh. That’s actually your band's name..

He crosses his arms skeptically not liking the fact Nina used to hang with a different band.

Marina: Yep! Ever since we were little.

Scott: So how do you guys know Nina?

Shout: well, Nina here used to go to music school with us before she moved. She was always so ready to get up and dance to our performances!

Nina: Oh yeah! Your tap dancing performance with the duck slippers! Twists one man band! The big surprise party for Ms. Piccolo, my surprise going away party. Your big show was my favorite! 

Scott: big show??? I gotta hear about this.

Marina: sure.. but first maybe we should change out of these.

Dave: good idea.. I will admit the hat looks good on you.

Marina: thanks!

Chapter 2 Imagine up some ideas!

This is the second chapter of my Fresh Beat Band and Imagination Movers crossover fanfic, side-note, a lot of it, for this chapter will be song lyrics, so be prepared for that along with some funny dialogue that might lead to some lore you never thought of. @redgearsmovin @kittyundercover1 @happinessismagicc

Back at the idea warehouse. the movers are changing. Scott comes out in Twist's yellow and blue hoodie. He seems mostly obvious to the change in outfits. As Rich walks out in Shouts orange sweater and plaid shorts.

Rich: … So Scott. Do you wanna tell me what happened to our jumpsuits?

Scott: Well I mean I went to get them washed at the dry cleaners and I obviously did exactly that!

Scott looks at Rich and smiles like a doofus.

Scott: Huh, your jumpsuit looks sick. Orange is honestly your color especially with that piano pattern on the sleeve. Ooh and those wicked brown plaid shorts, you always rock a jumpsuit-

Rich: except this isn’t my jumpsuit l, and that’s not yours either. I will admit though the pants fit you well, black is slimming. You do smell like a banana though.. 

Rich pinches his nose at the overwhelmingly strong scent of bananas as apparently Twist’s hoodie usually is banana scented. Scott proceeds to inhale the scent of the hoodie with a smile.

Scott: It's not that bad, it’s nice and fruity.

As the two talk. Smitty walks in, this causes both Rich and Scott to gasp in shock. As they stare at Smitty who is in Kiki's pink ruffle mini skirt and pink short sleeve hood top with polka dots on the white sleeves. He also is sporting her pink chain headband.

Smitty: what…? What are you guys lookin’ at?

Scott: Smitty, Smitts, the Smittster, Smitterooni, Smitty-marinky-d~

Rich immediately throws a hand over Scott’s mouth.

Rich: We get it Scott! So Smitty, bud do you see what you’re wearing?

Smitty: Well I couldn’t find my glasses and from the looks of it, the dry cleaners washed my jumpsuit in a bunch of red. Everything is pink now.

Rich: ummm maybe consider putting in contacts.

Smitty: I can see perfectly fine.

He’s currently speaking to a support beam. As warehouse mouse  comes out of his mouse hole and giggles looking at Smitty.

Warehouse Mouse: Smitty pwetty, Smitty wike Nina.

Smitty: very funny little buddy, I guess in this pink I look like Nina.

Rich: .. Hey, where’s Dave?

Scott: Dave! Where ya at!?

Suddenly he calls out from behind a wall.

Dave: I’m not coming out! I’m staying right here.

Smitty: I mean you really are probably just being dramatic…… Hey! Why are you ignoring me!?

Scott: That's a potted plant Smitty..

Dave: fine.. please just don’t laugh….

Dave walks out flushed red in embarrassment. He was in Marina’s turquoise-blue dress with a pink collar and sleeve cuffs, with a magenta belt with a purple metal buckle with her drum design. Warehouse mouse bursts into laughter at the top of his lungs as Dave stamps his foot annoyed.

Dave: It's not that funny!!!

Rich: I will admit you do look pretty though Dave.

Dave gives a death stare toward Rich.

Smitty: Alright, calm down guys, we just need to figure out who has our jumpsuits. Scott, you went to the dry cleaners today. Didn’t you make sure you had our jumpsuits?

Scott: I did, though there was another guy there with a yellow shirt. He also was getting a bunch of clothes washed.

Rich: Well that could be anybody. So many people wear yellow.

Dave: This is a problem if anything..

Rich: that means we’ve got a..

Imagination Movers: Idea emergency! 🚨 

Dave: If we went to get our clothes back.

Scott: We need to find who has our clothes!

Rich: and swap back with them!

Smitty: and that calls for a…

Imagination Movers: Brainstorm!

[they begin brainstorming]

We need good ideas

And we need them now

After the song they don’t have many ideas. As the door of the idea warehouse opens and Nina comes in not seeing them completely yet.

Nina: Hi movers!

Dave gasps and hides behind some stuff.

Imagination Movers: Nina!!

Nina: I was just coming to bring some stuff to help you guys with ideas for your next so…. 

She finally sees Scott, Smitty, and Rich.

Nina: uhhh. What’s with the new clothes?

Rich: long story. Basically Scott went to get our clothes cleaned at the dry cleaners and Scott got our clothes mixed up with some other four people’s clothes.

Nina: Ohhh . I mean they aren’t that bad.. Where's Dave?

The others point to some stuff stacked up as he pokes his head out nervously.

Nina: What are you hiding back there for silly?

Dave: because I don’t want you to see me like this.

Nina: Don't worry I really can’t be that bad. You’re still Dave after all..

Dave: Oh really…

He walks out revealing the dress as he gives a grumpy pout as Nina now understands.

Nina: ohhh… I have to say, you guys look really familiar. I feel like I’ve seen these clothes somewhere before. I just can’t put my finger on it.

The boys all look confused as they don’t know what on earth she’s talking about or who for that matter. Meanwhile back in the fresh beats neighborhood. The band goes to The Groovy Smoothie to refuel.

Melody: hey fresh beats!

Fresh Beat Band: Hi Melody!

Melody: wow! What’s with the groovy outfits, is this like for a costume contest?

Kiki: thanks, but there was actually a mix-up at the dry cleaners. 

Twist: yea I got our clothes mixed up with whoever Scott, Rich, Dave, and Smitty are.

Melody: Well, I bet you could all use some smoothies to help refuel and get some energy.

Marina: You bet!

As Melody gets the fresh beats their smoothies she looks at the jumpsuits reading the names as she thinks about it.

Melody: You know, I’m really sure I’ve seen these jumpsuits before, when I first moved into this town, a group of guys helped me move my stuff into my apartment. They were really groovy. I just don’t remember what their business was called ‘something movers’..

Twist: well thanks for the smoothies Melody!

[the fresh beats head off]

Melody: any time fresh beats! Good luck finding your outfits… I could imagine what it might be right now… Imagine.. That’s it! FRESH BEATS IT'S THE IM… and they’re already gone.

The fresh beats sit back in their lobby and don’t know what to do as they sit in the movers outfits. Shout finds a pair of drumsticks in Rich’s jumpsuit, he twirls them to fidget as they begin glowing.

Marina: hip hop and pop, those drumsticks bright glowing just don't stop!

Kiki: Those are some Kickin drumsticks. But I don’t think you should mess around with something that doesn’t exactly belong to you. Especially if you don’t know what they do..

Shout: relax, you know I only can twirl a drumstick, I barely play the drums, keyboards are cooler~

The other fresh beats stare and shock as circles traced in the air

Shout: woah.. that is one stylin’ circle! It’s like I can scribble, with these sticks.. This is cool!

Marina takes Dave’s red cap off of her head and sees it looks to be an empty void inside as she sticks her hand in. She pulls out what seems to be a tracking device of some sort.

Marina: woah.. check this out. It seems to be some sort of tracking device I guess. This is a really cool gadget. I wonder who made this and somehow was able to keep it deep in their hat.

Kiki: I bet whoever it is probably owns the hat and the outfits. Whoever that Dave guy is seems to be really tech savvy.

Twist: Come on Fresh Beats, what are we waiting for? We can’t sit around and wait for our outfits to come back to us. We gotta go find our outfits!

Kiki: Trust is right! Let’s jump in the car!

Shout: Get on up!

Marina: and go-go a go-go!

The band walks out packing their instruments and backpacks as they begin singing, get up and go go!

Kiki: It's time to get up and go-go!

All: Do the go-go-a-go-go!

Marina: No time to rest up, oh, no.

All: Oh, no, got to get up and go-go!

Shout: It's time to get up and go!

Twist: Go with the flow!

Marina: Get up and jump!

All: Jump up and go!

Imagine a Fresh swap?

This is the first chapter of my fresh beat band and Imagination Movers crossover fanfic. I decided to finally continue this for some of my amazing fans who also enjoyed the fresh beat band and the Imagination Movers. @kittyundercover1 @redgearsmovin @happinessismagicc

The episode starts in the idea warehouse, the imagination movers are jamming out, Smitty on his guitar, Scott on his keyboard, Dave on his bass, and Rich on his drums.

Smitty: great jam movers! We’re sounding awesome. This practice has been paying off.

Rich : yep!….

before Scott can say something actually good about the rehearsal, he inhales and gives a look of disgust.

Scott: Eugh… which one of you guys skipped a couple bath nights?

Dave, Scott, Smitty, and Rich all sniff at each other and then themselves realizing they are a little funky (not in the musical way)

Rich: okay… so maybe it’s about time we get these jumpsuits cleaned and take some baths, after all the working and jamming.

Warehouse mouse comes out his hole and sniffs the air 

Warehouse Mouse: uggghnue… yucky!

Scott: We stink.

Rich gives a slightly annoyed look but shrugs it off as it’s Scott being Scott.

Rich: … Thanks Scott. Ok so who wants the first shower?

They all raise their hands and decide to rock paper scissors.

Rich: ok… rock…

Smitty: paper…

Scott: scissors…

Dave: Shoot!

Rich and Smitty choose paper, Dave chose scissors, and Scott chose the rock. Scott is last (just bare with me this is how the plot gets set up)

Rich: Hey, Scott. While Smitty goes first and then me and then Dave, could you run down to the dry cleaner and have our jumpsuits washed, get the smelly stink out of them?

Scott: Do pigs say oui???

……..

Scott: That's a yes.

Dave: Great, take my hat too.

Smitty: and mine too, and my glasses. They could use a sparkling.

Scott: Okie doke! I’ll be back.

[Scott leaves with a huge laundry basket of the jumpsuits and hats and glasses/goggles as he goes off. Meanwhile at the fresh beat apartment complex, the fresh beat band arrive back from music school, backpacks on their backs]

Kiki: What a kickin’ day at music school!

Shout: Yeah! That dance you made up, Kiki! It was super stylin’!

Marina: I’m honestly kinda tired after all that dancing. Whaddaya say we go grab a snack and maybe, we could go to the park?

Shout & Kiki: yea, sounds good!

Twist sniffs the air, as he rapidly sniffs around the band and himself.

Shout: uhh Twist… what are you d~

Twist: smellin’… and what I’m smellin’ is stink. We’ve been rocking and dancing and singing and playing music and~

Marina: get to the point please Twist.

Twist: Breathy inhale…. We need to get these outfits washed, I mean we wear these super sweet outfits every day. So I think it’s time we clean them up a bit before we go out and jam.

Shout: I mean yea, I guess we could use a bit of cleaning and un-dusting

Kiki: You’re right. We could use a bit of some sparkle.

Marina: Well, we don’t have a washer in the lobby. Twist, could you take out outfits to the dry cleaners? That way we can wash up and then get our clothes after.

Twist: you got it!

A few seconds later Kiki, Marina, and Twist are in robes and Twist is in a regular casual outfit a yellow t-shirt and black sweat pants. that is not his usual.

Twist: I’ll be back with these outfits sparkling and smelling better than ever before.

He hops into the fresh beat convertible and drives off to the Dry cleaners. He arrives and goes inside, passing by Scott who is giving his clothes to the person at the front desk. At least 35 minutes later the clothes are just about done

employee: alright… I think they’re done.. let me just get these all bagged up.

He puts the outfits into their respective bags 4 bright colors for the fresh beats between pink, orange, purple, and yellow. And deep blue bags for the movers stuff.

Employee: here you go. 

Scott & Twist: Thanks man..

They stare at each other and smirk

Scott & Twist: Jinx! Hahahaha!

Scott: see ya round. 

he takes the blue clothing bags and walks out humming 

Twist: you too. 

Twist grabs the colorful clothing bags stepping out and heading back to the fresh beat car. Later at the lobby Twist drops off each bag to the respective band member and goes into their apartments to change. Twist is in his apartment changing when…

Shout, Marina, & Kiki: TWIST!!!

He pops his head out his closet door still needing to put on a shirt

Twist: huh???

Marina: GET OUT HERE RIGHT NOW!

He winces hearing Marina yell as she only does that when she means business. So he pops back into the closet to get changed as when he dashes out.. he sees the fresh beats in blue jumpsuits. Marina is in a red hat, and Kiki is wearing glasses and a cowboy hat. 

Marina: So Twist, care to explain what you did?

Twist: oh easy. I got into the car and I went driving for a while. 🎶Do do do do🎶 then I went into the dry cleaners and gave the clothes to the lovely employee~

Shout: no, Twist these jumpsuits. These aren’t ours. They belong to whoever’s named… Rich.

Marina: Dave..?

Kiki: Smitty.

Twist: and Scott.

Kiki: if the dry cleaners gave you these fancy jumpsuits. Who has our clothes..?

Twist: I don’t know, but I say we ask around town.

Shout: good idea. Let’s go guys. 

The fresh beats go off out of the lobby to go and ask some of their neighbors if the outfits possibly belong to one of them. Chapter 2

so a while back this summer I finally decided to revisit the imagination movers since I absolutely love TFBB.
