‘Oh come on! Show this bitch what you can REALLY do!’
For once it was probably wise to listen to his mother’s warnings, but now, something was scratching in the back of his head… what was it?
It wasn’t important right now, this situation was; yes, this 'mega evolution’ trick was something that caused differences in appearance and growth in strength, but this was… different. It felt different… was this really the same Ringmaster he’d been trying to coax into revealing what they truly were to him? That one felt… at least somewhat like a creature he could call a fellow Pokemon, but now?
“Well, alright…” Cecil took the apparent bait thrown his way; this Audino was offering one of two options and the first one wasn’t something he wanted to see… not anymore, not under these circumstances. Now… if they were on equal ground, he’d gladly continue playing this game, but he was in her territory… this equally strange landscape. It was time to retreat, at least… not before he got to demonstrate what she oh so wanted to see.
“Now, keep you eye on me…” Cecil’s collar gave off a faint red glow from the ruby at its base; he’d have to experiment with this trick, but at least he knew it’d work. A faint image of a forest began to form behind the Leipard, his body sinking into it, until nothing but a red mist was left where he was once pinned.
This thing was a threat, he couldn’t handle it, but he wanted to; every fiber of his being screamed to attack her while she wasn’t paying attention, to cut her down, aim for the neck… do it, the chance is there! Take down this thing, do it now!
“You might miss me~” Cecil made his choice: it was time to retreat. “How was that, hmm? I’d say what I just did was quite amazing, but I guess your little transformation was more than that, 'Ringmaster’.” Cecil exclaimed, glaring at the changed Audino with a smirk.
“I have to admit, at first I thought you were just a strange Audino with mysterious abilities like myself… but no… you’re something more. Something different, I can’t pinpoint how, but you’re not the… same, but! Sadly, I have work to get back to… but I guess one thing stands, 'Ringmaster’…” Cecil smiled, more red mist flowing around him. “Whoever-no-whatever you are now… I feel we’ll meet again… and I’ll be ready for it~” He departed with a laugh, vanishing in a plume of red mist.
