How could everyone let him down like this?
Screams all around, Screams of terror and fear.
So many screams of pain echoing through the air around him.
His hands were covered in blood, blank white eyes slowly scanning the area around him.
Everything was on fire, everyone alive was running. The dead lay motionless, powerless on the ground. Sprawled out in an unceremoniously position, being the last movement they could make before they were slaughtered.
He could barely hear the screams now, letting them sink in.
Eyes were closed now, breath was lax, and his mouth, turned up in a frightening grin.

Slowly turning his eyes back to the scene of fire and death, stripping away his coat before slowly walking to the boy.
He wouldnât let corruption take this one. No. They will stay pure, help him one day to bring this world from its darkness it was falling into.
âItâs alright kid, Iâll protect you, and nothing will hurt you while Iâm around got it?â Just smile, that will get the kid to listen.
Arm wrapped around the small boy that clung onto the cool coat around him.
Those arms lifted up the boy, before legs began to carry them from the destruction and burning around them.
âTell me kidâŚ.whatâs your name?â
âMy name is Steve, what yours mister?â
âSteve, cute kid, you can call me Herobrine.â
Herobrine slowly opened his eyes, staring up at the sky with a blank look.
âSo you are the prince from before...you have stayed uncorrupted...lets see if it stay that way.â
