A pokeask blog about a quiet but bubbly reuniclus that promises to provide a peaceful place to sleep. Lalu offers assistive services such as eating your nightmares, helping you explore your dreamscape, and custom trinkets and charms to fend off those pesky night terrors.

This is my first askblog and I’m doing a lot of experimentation! Services, character/blog appearance, post frequency, art style, and all sorts of things are up for change over time.
This is a SFW askblog.
Asks & services will be done at my own pace. I tend to draw very slowly, so timeliness is not guaranteed.
All Pokéblog interactions are welcome! Humans, gjinkas, pokémon, and most anything under the Pokémon umbrella are open to send asks.
Most questions welcome! Anything between silly and serious is fine! In-character aggression and even harm is OK. If you're unsure, feel free to DM me!
I'm open to roleplay! The askblog format of RP is new to me, but long threads and such are a-ok and threads will be continued at lalureplies.

Munday ask, what has been your favourite part about askblogging so far? Any notable moments on the blog youd like to share?
My favorite thing askblogging has how its acted as crazy release valve for my brain to enjoy making art again! I can draw without worrying too much about things looking pristine or tight deadlines, and when I post something there's no anxiety or weight. The community has been incredibly kind and encouraging and it's a wonderful space to just create in.
The blog is still very young, but the cafe drawpile is an experience I'm still very fond of!! I organized it a lil messily but watching each character pop up on top of the background just filled my heart so much. I'd love to host another one sometime with the lessons I learned from the first one!!

What made you decide a reuniclus was going to be the Pokémon for your blog? Quality choice because it's one of my favourite psychic types. Were there any other Pokémon you considered?
Reuniclus is one of my favorite psychic types as well! Definitely top 3 fav pokemon ever since they carried me through the BW elite 4 as a kid!!!
For the blog I wanted a pokemon that I could draw quickly, is friend-shaped, and seemed easy to draw in general! In hindsight I think they can actually be somewhat complicated (overlapping translucent parts, somewhat amorphous, etc.), but I quickly fell in love with the idea of a cuddly and emotional pokemon that changes form based on their mood.
I also considered a Kirlia/Honedge mixed pokemon before Lalu! Initially a much more combative and angry character.
Happy first Munday! Is there anything that drew you in specific in creating an askblog and diving into things?
A big reason I got interested in the first place is because @fayooweh (mun of @sonder-palms and @neverlandfaerai) kept making it look so fun!!! All the collaborative art and RP and people throwing blorbos at each other sounded so idyllic to me!
I love drawing characters and absorbing other people's OC lore and RPing, but I'm not a very strong writer and was looking for something more lighthearted while still being able to interact with others. And this was perfect!!??!?!?!??
Alyse walked up the steps to a filled floor of attendees. As they looked from one individual to the next, they froze in their tracks. Not only was almost everyone here Pokemon, there were even more legendaries and Pokémon they didn’t recognize. Maybe the invitation hadn't been for them, maybe it had been intended for someone else? But after having seen Kris and Nat, they knew they weren’t the only human here.
Even then, they turned around and quickly shuffled back down the steps to hide back in the foliage.
Reaching into their pocket, they pulled out a pokeball and opened it:
A grimmsnarl sporting flowering antlers materialized in front of them.
“Leylo you felt all those pokemon there right? I don’t want to walk in there by myself,” they laughed nervously.

Life has gotten very crazy very fast! For the next 3-6 weeks I'm gonna focus on moving, job hunting, commissions, etc. So only written replies when I can squeeze them in or maybe the very occasional doodle reply or random art.
Thank you to everyone who has sent me asks, I'll do my best to get back to everyone when things settle!!
Lalu lit up as they listened to Luelle speak of their master's teachings, feeling a rare connection and further esteem for this potentially new friend.
"mine weren't familiar with my powers either! but they were kind and patient and truly wonderful. 1 'form' was hard enough for me, 3 forms is a lot! your current form is already impressive, i can't imagine what it took to learn another!!"
They were curious about what their regular and other forms looked like, but decided it best not to pry further given the "disguise" aspect of these forms. As Lalu was about to flip their board to prepare for the next message, it instead fell to the ground as their grip failed at the sight of Luelle's sudden casual conjuration of the metaphysical.
They were filled with equal parts wonder and bewilderment. Their mind began to race. 'How did they do that? Is this normal? Am I really allowed to have this? Is it a trap or an illusion? Is anyone else seeing this?' Their instincts, lying just beneath the cacophony of thoughts, roared: this being is dangerous.
Yet, above all, they were far too excited not to accept the gift—especially from such a kind stranger!
Lalu quickly stowed the gem in a hidden dress pocket quickly fumbled to pick up the board from the dirt. Ecstatic and deeply flustered, they struggled to piece together their words as they juggled writing, erasing, and writing again.
"wow!! by the gods, thank you! 100x thank you!!!! i'll definitely visit after the festival, i've never used something like this before and i can't wait to try it! let's go shopping together someday!!??"
