Mod: for right now I’m not sure. I just had my beloved cat passed away a day ago and been dealing with other personal stuff. i do want to bring this blog back but no tablet so no art. i was hoping to have a new tablet by this point but i keep getting curveballed

(It's been 5 months. Is this blog going to die? It's the only one I can find which isn't dead)

Mod: is it dead? More like Sleeping Beauty atm. I work as a postal worker/ letter carrier now (since late January of 2020) and usually by the end of the day I’m actually feeling dead, especially since it’s peak season (still better tho, as far as rn, than political season).

Plus my tablet died back in early fall and haven’t been able to buy one yet due to other bills, along with that I haven’t quite decided which tablet I want (iPad? Wacom one? Huion? So many choices and price ranges). I do plan on coming back to this once I get a tablet and finish a commission I promise to do once getting new tablet.

I am sorry for the inactivity, sometimes life comes in and beats the shit out of you. But you gotta keep going and not give up hope. I and Madoka will be back, just waiting/sleeping until the prince(tablet) comes.

Mod: I’m doing pretty alright. I’m still working which is a godsend during these times, but I’m definitely hitting my limits a lot more (also twisted my ankle today so that’s fun. I still haven’t gotten my tablet since I had to get a new phone ( my old one was dying so fast plus I didn’t have any storage ) but once I get that, I’m going to start drawing again

Mod: hey, with everything going on in the world, I hope you are all doing okay. Even Madoka would hope you’re all okay. And rn with my job being essential (I’m a carrier assistant for the USPS), my life is chaotic on top of this pandemic. And I’ll be buying a new drawing tablet (one with a screen finally) so I’ll be able to start drawing again (hopefully, CTS is a bitch). And I haven’t gotten to watch the Magia Record but I will soon (and I’ll be able to answer those related questions.

Joking aside it’s not really dead. I don’t have any asks to respond to, plus I’m working long hours and generally exhausted by the end of the day

mod: i know I havent posted in a while (dealing with personal issues as well as working 35-40 hour job) but I do want to say that I deleted all my messages. The main reason was that there been a bug on my main where it says I have one ask but nothing is there. Plus its kind of like spring cleaning ya know?

I hope I come back and draw more for this blog :)

(This is actually more of an ooc question to the Mod of the blog, and I can send this question using my blog if that would make you more comfortable, but how are you doing these days? One of your earlier posts that you made a while back said you were getting a job, and I was just wondering if things have gotten better for you since then. If that's okay with you, alright?)

Mod: Well things have been extremely rocky but getting slightly better. I’ve had to move back to my homestate and live with a sibling and her family atm. I recently did get a job at my local grocery store (well somewhat local. I live out in the country rn) and currently saving up to get a used car so I can drive myself to and from work (and possible get a better job elsewhere). I also have to obtain a driver licence but I atleast have permit.

there is way more stuff I would say, but it would end up being a very long post lol. I do plan on trying to keep at this , since its still fun at times. Its just that I’m currently trying to build a portfolio (mainly for storyboarding and design), so its eats some of my art time (when I’m not drawing fanart of other shows orz)
