Lord Magnus. Any tips on managing ADHD? Finals are coming up and motivation to do homework is almost nonexistent.

I regret that this message did not find me sooner…

But never fret, for my advice is universal and finals or other trials will always come again…

My advice is to embrace your ADHD. Treat it as a part of you rather than something to fight. Look at the ADHD thoughts when they come in or examine your actions without guilt or discrimination. Just tell yourself that this part of me is not something that I am going to interact with right now, but I will hear it out when the work is done…

The largest problem with ADHD is that one often procrastinate more trying to shut out the impulses and thus it wins anyways…

It may take a long time to master this discipline. You may have to practice hundreds of times a day every day, looking at each thought and saying “ oh that’s a thought. I need to let that go.” “ oh that’s an idea, I’ll do that later.” but I promise you with enough practice it will get easier…

The world would decidedly be a lesser place with you, not in it…

It’s not always easy moving forward… Believe me, I know… But remember that each of your steps has impact… every smile sends out shockwaves of joy… And you may choose how much you want to affect the world, but never think that you don’t affect it at all…

All we can do, every single day, even when we feel like nothing, is try to put out a small spark into the void…

They are still in containment…

I feel I will be able to restore them, someday…

Moore worryingly they have started to lay eggs and hatch other crabs…

The nature of these new crabs, once my sons are turned back to themselves remain, remains unknown…
