So, this is an ask /roleplay blog for my two ocs that I dumped into pressure. .They weren't originally pressure ocs but then I looked Sebastian & my oc Marie and went; "huh... Fish..." So then I decided why not.

This a just for funsies!

Marie's back within a minute or two, a cup in one hand and a small makeshift basin in the other, complete with a rag hanging off the side.

"For your wounds," She states, placing both the rag and the basin beside you. The water inside is surprisingly clear. "It would be preferable if you didn't turn into one of those creatures."

*Erh... at least a wounds cleaning is probably needed. With cuts and scrapes like that, while around all that rot and coral? Prrroobably a good idea to rinse em out...

"Why don't you take a seat? I'll go get us something safe to drink, and maybe something to help with your injuries..."

She gestures at a nearby desk, before making her way into the connecting room. You've got a few minutes of alone time.

Marie relaxes a fraction. She hovers for a second, wondering if the medkit is needed, before pulling away.

"That's good to hear... " She sighs, "The blacksite isn't getting any safer these days. It would be a shame to lose a more to this place.."

*She gestures to her arm.

At least- Trippin' while gettin' away from th' lot of them... now 'm stuck followin' around th' guy who made 'em... so thats just... dandy...

Marie's head practically whips around to look at you.

"What."

She moves over to you, lifting your arm (not the broken one) and inspecting you for any further injuries.

"He didn't hurt you, did he?"

Marie hums, gently nudging you in and closing the door behind you.

"Well it seems you've been out and about at least. I do hope you've been keeping your distance from those coral creatures that've been popping up."

She reaches up to one of the nearby shelves, rummaging through the mess of scrap and data.

Marie sighs in relief, then perks up as she pushes the door open all the way, the spear shoved under one of the nearby tables.

"Come in, I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been doing?"

*....They're uh. Lurking for a little too long, though... they've been over here awhile.

Azure's out scavenging and Marie... she's getting restless. She can tell whoever's out there has been there for quiet some time and it's putting her on edge.

Its only minutes later, cursing under breathe, that she grabs her crudely fashion spear and makes her way to the door. Sliding it open and sticking her head out.

"We don't appreciate loiterers."

*Someone is lurking around the area .

Marie pays no mind to whomever it is. Many travel through these parts of the blacksite, although few ever venture to her room.

"Hm... Why don't you take a flash beacon? For any uh... more, fishy endeavours you may have."

Marie grins, handing you a flash beacon.

From high as hell up on a rafter, the familiar noise of combat boots filled the room, gentle steps swaying the overhanging bridge gently as elliot walked across, tossing his keys up and down until he reached the door, fumbling to open it.

"ah. There we go."

He talked to himself confidently as the door opened unto Marie and azures room.

Marie glares at you from her spot, coiled up in the corner.

“eh. Checking in. Mostly came here to break some news.”

-his singular eye loomed about the room.-

Ugh... Of course he has his rabbit. At least it's in a makeshift kennel this time...

Marie glanced at the kennel by it's side.

"At least your pet is in better shape. I hope Azure didn't lead you on too much of a wild goose chase."

She sighed, shifting her tail around.

"But I digress - what's so important that you had to come here in person to tell us?"

-he came in and sat down on the floor. Gently taking Kristen out of the kennel and holding her against his chest.-

“well. I'm just as fucked as allllll of you.”

-he sighed, a bit of a mortified look crossing his face.-

“urbanshade to cut costs has left me down here. Instead, letting the Expendables leave on it. Thus. I'm stuck down here with all of you.”

-kristen shifted from his gentle hands, moving to Marie to sniff her.-

"How unfortunate I suppose. For both of us."

She reached over to gently pet Kristen.

"I suppose if push comes to shove, we will take care of the rabbit in the case of your... untimely demise."

“Well, to be frank, we ALL are about to die. With no second chances with lady death.”

-he looked down at Kristen.-

“The crystal has been recovered, meaning urbanshade has nothing to lose.”

Marie sighed.

"Lady Death will hopefully have mercy on us. If worse comes to worst, a quick painless death would be the best option."

She cups Kristen's face, gently smooshing their cheeks.

"Do you have any plans for the current future?"

“We can only hope about lady death, I think she has seen me more times then you can count on both hands.”

-kristen flopped down next to Marie.-

“nope. Don't have a single idea of what to do now. I'm just trying to find some sad form of allies.”

"Ah. How... piteous."

She hums

"And what of your pet?"

[dr-fenrir]

“if push comes to shove, I'll have to kill her quick and painlessly. Gun, neck snapping, etc”

-he looked down. Ashamed.-

“though I doubt I could bring myself to it.”

"Worry not. In the event where you are unable to care for her, we can offer our services."

She sighs, looking up at Dr Fenrir.

"The question is, do you want her to outlive you, or would you rather make sure she never knew a life without you."

“Well, truth is I don't legally own her. She was an experiment. So legally urbanshade owns her, I don't get a say.”

-he ponders for a moment.-

“Id prefer she outlives me but then again, if urbanshade bombs this place, in that scenario id want to make sure she dies fast. Doesn't have to witness or bear that pain.”

"Legally? I never thought you'd be the type of person to think about that."

She scoffs.

"This is the Blacksite. Pardon my language, but "legal", doesn't mean shit here. It's finders keepers - at this point, she might as well be yours."

“I hate the fact that you have a point...”

-he chuckled-

“thing is in still employed down here and since my dad is well...”

"I'm pretty sure leaving you to die counts as a a sign that you've been let go."

Marie muttered with amusement, tilting her head.

"But, as long as keep your identity to yourself, you and your pet should be able to last a good while down in this place. If you loot a uniform, you should be able to pass as an expendable. Just remember to disable the PDG."

“thing is, his personal guardsmen claim it builds 'character' I don't know why I still get treated like a child.”

-he rolled his eye-

“Im sure you know jumpsuits are made to fit, it would be unrealistic to try and escape via diguise.”

"They're not wrong. This place certainly does things to your psyche. And for the jumpsuit problem - plenty of expendables are sent down here. I'm sure you'll find a good fit eventually."

She sighed.

"And I would advise you to let go of any hopes of escaping. Wearing a jumpsuit will only prolong your survival, since many of the residents here don't take kindly to the staff. Some, however, will take pity on the Expendables; hence, the jumpsuit."

[dr-fenrir]

“Right. I suppose.”

-kristen got up from her flop and waddled her way back to fenrir.-

-he picked her up, petting her in his arms while continuing conversation-

“Then again, My face is a bit hard to not recognize. And I have a few too many people down here I'm not particularly trying to get into a fight with.”

"Then hunker down somewhere. Maybe close to the DiVine - most think them unnerving or find it too much of a hassle to avoid the grass."

She watched Kristen shuffle back over into Fenrir's arms.

"I would say that it'd be a shame for someone like you to die so early, but we'd both know how much of a lie that is."

“Well, personal I thought of the mantle extraction. Yes while it's... 'host' is a pain in the ass to deal with, almost noone goes down there.”

-he stroked Kristen's head once more before returning her to the floor-

-he chuckled- “for sure. I honestly deserve to die”

"Mantle Extraction... That's where the Crooked lives, isn't it?"

She hummed

"Death is a mercy. Everyone deserves to die, but not everyone deserves to live."

“Outskirts is what your thinking of. He does tend to go in and out of the mantle extraction.”

“Since this hassle began I haven't had much of that weird angels blood to absolve me. Absolute pain in the ass to get some more. Room is locked up tight and code breachers are becoming harder to come by.”

"For the sake of all the other entities in this hell, I hope you never get it."

She rolled her eyes, leaning backwards onto her tail.

"I knew another scientist who was obsessed with the ichor, one of the head researchers, in fact."

A pause.

"She's dead now though. Managed to take out a decent chunk of research with her on the day of the lockdown."

-he pulled a code breacher from his pocket-

“I hope I can find some more on some Expendables corpses. This isn't enough for it though.”

-he shrugged-

“Thats why I don't obsess over strange things. I mastered human anatomy at a young age. I experiment on people. I agree I don't deserve to be absolved but it's just a perk of the job.”

"Ah yes, because that makes it so much better."

Marie murmured, voice dripping with sarcasm.

“on the topic... Need anything in particular. I am happy to trade you for some.”

She hummed, twisting around to rummage about her shelves.

"We have some meat, if you'd like. Wall dweller or fish - whatever suits your tastes."

“I have one I think let me find it.”

-he pulled it out.-

“yeah some dweller meat would be great right now.”

Marie picked out a chunk of wall dweller flesh, handing it over to Dr Fenrir.

"Here you go."

-He took the meat, returning the medkit over.-

The mutant admitted with a sigh, extending her arms to hold the squirming thing as far as she could away from herself, and partially towards her friend. She didn’t even properly look at it.

Azure gingerly took the creature.

"Yeah we had Fluffball Jr for a little while... Where did you get this though..."

This… thing Lemon had brought squirmed, giving Azure a bewildered look.

"So... Did... uh. Did you and Sherman... Y'know..."

She cringed, gesturing at the creature in her hands.

Lemon gave her friend an incredulous look, horror crossing her features at the implication.

“That’s not what it- you get the point!”

Azure sighed in relief.

"Oh thank god. I'm too young to be an auntie."

She squinted at the creature, lifting it up to eye level.

"So where'd you find this little guy?"

Lemon was fully prepared to correct her friend, but paused once Azure began inspecting it. It twisted, doing its best to bite her.

That was the reply she settled for. She stared at it with utter distain— or as it appeared— once it managed to twist around enough to hold onto Azure’s sleeve, not exactly happy with being manhandled.

"And I would advise you to let go of any hopes of escaping. Wearing a jumpsuit will only prolong your survival, since many of the residents here don't take kindly to the staff. Some, however, will take pity on the Expendables; hence, the jumpsuit."

“Right. I suppose.”

-kristen got up from her flop and waddled her way back to fenrir.-

-he picked her up, petting her in his arms while continuing conversation-

“Then again, My face is a bit hard to not recognize. And I have a few too many people down here I'm not particularly trying to get into a fight with.”

"Then hunker down somewhere. Maybe close to the DiVine - most think them unnerving or find it too much of a hassle to avoid the grass."

She watched Kristen shuffle back over into Fenrir's arms.

"I would say that it'd be a shame for someone like you to die so early, but we'd both know how much of a lie that is."

[dr-fenrir]

“Well, personal I thought of the mantle extraction. Yes while it's... 'host' is a pain in the ass to deal with, almost noone goes down there.”

-he stroked Kristen's head once more before returning her to the floor-

-he chuckled- “for sure. I honestly deserve to die”

"Mantle Extraction... That's where the Crooked lives, isn't it?"

She hummed

"Death is a mercy. Everyone deserves to die, but not everyone deserves to live."

[dr-fenrir]

“Outskirts is what your thinking of. He does tend to go in and out of the mantle extraction.”

“Since this hassle began I haven't had much of that weird angels blood to absolve me. Absolute pain in the ass to get some more. Room is locked up tight and code breachers are becoming harder to come by.”

"For the sake of all the other entities in this hell, I hope you never get it."

She rolled her eyes, leaning backwards onto her tail.

"I knew another scientist who was obsessed with the ichor, one of the head researchers, in fact."

A pause.

"She's dead now though. Managed to take out a decent chunk of research with her on the day of the lockdown."

[dr-fenrir]

-he pulled a code breacher from his pocket-

“I hope I can find some more on some Expendables corpses. This isn't enough for it though.”

-he shrugged-

“Thats why I don't obsess over strange things. I mastered human anatomy at a young age. I experiment on people. I agree I don't deserve to be absolved but it's just a perk of the job.”
