Hi!

I have sad news... I think I’ll stop answering questions after answering the five or six more I have... don’t get me wrong, Michael Monroe is still one of my favourite artist and bands, but I have a lot of things to do lately and not much motivation to go on with this blog... This makes me really sad as I have enjoyed it all those years! but as I grew up, the idea that Michael and the other boys are real people and not fictional characters made me think that I can offend them without noticing and this fact does also give me less freedom to say whatever I want.

I’ll probably make another ask blog with a fictional character, but I’ll tell you about it.

But hey! I’ll go on with Rockstar Bebop as everybody (the band, I think some of you and me) seem to enjoy it! I’ll also, of course, leave the blog opened so you can see all of the work I’ve done in it ;) and I won’t say “stop asking”, I probably won’t answer, but maybe if I get motivated to I’ll do it.

Hey!  Sorry for being so late answering this! I was going on with my @bohemiancomic; I had to finish the last chapter I posted. If you like my comics, why don’t you give it an oportunity? It would make me really happy :) (you can also read it on tapastic and it’s official web, and also buy them on Le Chat Étrange storenvy ) Okay, I stop spamming!!

I’ve got a lot of questions right now, so I’m sorry if I’m a bit slow! but don’t worry, I answer all the questions!! (except for racist/sexist/homophobe/transphobe/etc questions, but I think it’s kind of obvious, and thank got I still haven’t received any of these).

The truth is that I’ve had fun experimenting with the pencil on the flashback! the truth is that I’ve never used a current pencil for my colors, but you see... even the most common object can be used for a comic!

Well... hello!! I’m back!! 

The other day I went to their concert and they inspired me to go on with this blog! they really rock onstage! Steve also seemed to love the Rockstar Bebop comic I printed for him, so I was really motivated! by the way, in the comic Steve said “nobody here talks” because appart from Michael all the others don’t even sing and rarely talk in the concerts, he, he, he! I found it funny that they’re so near to me recording the demos, I could literally catch the train and go see them, but I’m not such a stalker, ha, ha! I don’t really know if it’s raining in the north of Catalonia, but in the south it’s been raining all day...

As you see I will now make the drawings by hand because I don’t like much the results with the old way and I suck at computer painting too... I have to find a quickliest way to make the comics though, cause it took me a lot of time and I have a lot of things to do!! Well, I can do it this way if I don’t get a lot of questions.

By the way, I will now sign with my artistic name Sami Luu. I will not sign as Helena no more... as now people also calls me Sami as I just came out as a trans boy... (life has weird things, you see...) 

Oh, by the way, is my hand typography horrible? because if you rather it, I’ll make it by computer...

After all these years, Rockstar Bebop is back!!

I wanted to publice it on Steve’s birthday but again I’m late... I’ve been ill in bed all the week, but at least I could finish it, not like last year! Enjoy!!

*Velvet Goldmine is a film about Brian Slade (Bowie’s alter ego), a rock singer who gets known for playing glam-rock, being one of the mosts important artists of the movement. Due to a lot of problems, he can’t go on with all the fame and simulates his death, getting shot onstage. (this is not a spoiler, don’t worry)

“Under the Northern Lights”, an artwork I did for the Michael Monroe fan art contest. I was inspired in the song written by DeeDee Ramone which is in their new album. The image has a lot of meanings and interpretations I couldn’t explain here smile emoticon Hope I’m lucky!! A shit the photo never looks like the original, though… where the colors and the northern lights look better…

Sorry for not being able to change his clothes or expression much... my tablet isnt working ok again... but i think it’s more of a computer problem

I would really love to make comissions if anyone is interested ^_^ the price depends on the technic I use, the size of the comission, if you want an original or a copy, etc. 

And I have no questions now! so if anyone wants to ask, now’s the moment :) i can be very late answering because i’m, very busy these days, but I’ll do it when I have some free time!!

sorry for taking so long with this question... I had a lot of work and I didnt even know what to answer... but finally i could answer!! :)  By the way, the new album Blackout States sounds really good!! I’m listening to it right now and it’s a masterpiece (like everything they’ve done, really...)

Yes, he keeps us on a cage... and get us out of there when we have a gig... he’s always done it this way, I don’t know why Karl gets so scared everytime... well, I know I’ve been playin’ all live with him but Karl’s not new too...

Hey, I’m back again!!  Idk what happened to my tablet but i can’t draw the lines clean... they look awful.

Late, but happy birthday to our hero Michael Monroe

I haven’t done anything special for it, and I’m sorry because I don’t actualize it since a long time, but now I’m free of classes so this blog is back!!
