Today was a great day in my home decor life! I got up to an email stating that Gucci has a new home decor line that includes vases, candles, chairs, trays, and a number of other things. I personally love it all, the collection could be used in alot of ways:

-Home Decor

-Office Decor

-Hotel Decor

-Staging Decor

-And Etc. 

The price points are from $260 to $5500 (I believe)...and its custom made to order. The turn around time is 20-21 weeks. Just in time for Christmas! lol

So Simple

Somehow I’ve allowed the business of life to keep me completely busy. However, I manage to keep myself entertained in the land of make believe...opps I mean Instagram, lol. 

Don’t get me wrong...I love Instagram, however, it can be overwhelming when your looking to take a quick break to see whats going on. So I have a few accounts that I love to look at and take different ideas from. Here is a home posted by @rodeoand5th-blog. This home is located in Guayaquil, Ecuador by @orensearsquitectos.

COASTERS ANYONE!!! Ahhhh one of the perks of being an adult is taking things such as furniture very very serious. Serious enough that we make things called coasters to make sure that no one f@cks up our tables. lol. Instead of being rude, we just whip out one of these babys and politely place what ever condescening glass or cup one it. 

So if your going to consistantly make these moves, you might as well have a luxurious coaster to put it on. If your going to be an a$$hole about your table, at least have something worth looking at. BTW, I’m totally the coaster whipperer. lol

Its Saturday afternoon and alot has happened this week. #BlackLivesMatter. All though I have been in kinda of a sad mood, I came to realized that to over come all that has happened we must focus on becoming more successful. Let me explain why....certain issues will always be targeted on certain communities. If thoses communities no longer exsit, then we will not completely get rid of the problem. But less violence will occur. And Im talking about communities that have most living at or below the poverty line. In order for us to get out of that community we must focus on the confidence & education that will uplift us. Success is not given, it is earned. 

Now being an African American (and if you are not, you might not be able to releate to this, at least try), I decided a long time ago that it will aways be hard for us. Whether if its in business, going to shopping, hell or just living my everyday life. It will always be hard, I’ve excepted that roll. But I don’t focus on it. What I do focus on is becoming a success that can help change the sterotypes of my kind. And unfortuntly, while innocent people are being killed, we still have to move towards success otherwise nothing will change. I applause the protest of those who are phyically showing that together we need to be heard. Due to my business schedule I have been unable to attend the protest or peace walks. As of today, Im the CEO, accountant, security, admistrator, marketer, social media poster, and a list of other things. If I drop the ball, my whole operation stops. But writing this post allows me to be apart of the movement. I will continue to pray that these issues will be heard and solutions will take place. I pray that those in power will find away to connect with us in such away that words would not even be needed to say. A connecting eye to eye look will bring out the emotion of how we feel. We all are one being, we just look different from each other.

Most know that I love YSL....the brand is always classy, sophisticated, and yet simple. What I adore even more when fashion spills over into home decor!!!! 

Here are a few canvas prints of what others have created using the YSL fashion brand. The last image is a collection of YSL art pieces that were on display in a museum. I don’t have the fact resources to trace the date and time back. But, its nice to just admire this.

Since its 4th of July weekend, I wish I could go to the beach. Sigh, so here are a few pieces of art that I viewed off the One Kings Lane website. Btw, they are have a 4th of July Blowout Sale. All the pieces range from $189 to $435. The bottom 2 pieces satifies my hint OCD, and I think the photographers felt the same way. Thats why they took the images, lol. Enjoy!

Just a little quietness....

Hello all,

Today I will like to share some of my personal feelings that I normally don’t share. Usually I post up interior designing ideas, art, or whatever things that make me happy. 

And today I want to share with you one of my FAVORITE things in the whole wide world. Can you guess what it is? Its QUIETNESS...every fucking day my phone rings back to back with people and their problems. From problems with collecting rent, (let me interject that I also do property management), problems with repairs, problems that stem from other problems...and the list goes on. 

Now, as of today, I don’t have children, and when I tell people how I feel I kinda get dismissed. Dismissed because I don’t have someone saying “Mommy Mommy” 15 times in a row, or that I don’t have toddlers writting on my walls. 

But I promise you, dealing with adults are just as bad. Because they know exactly what they are doing. Children don’t. And sometimes I want to scream with the amount of problems that can be prevented from the adults I’m talking about. 

So days like today, its Saturday and I still have to do a bit of work today. BUT I DON’T FUCKING feel like talking to anyone. AND I really enjoy my time when I don’t have to talk to anyone. Im even watching “DUFF” for the 3rd time with the volume off. Yes its weird, but I enjoy watching tv sometimes with no sound! I guess I actually like just watching tv lol. But now I must get back to work, which means answer calls and kick ass like a normally do 7 days a week. 

I know what your thinking.......why in the hell do you work 7 days a week? I do it because that what it took for me to gain the amount of success I have now. It has not been exposed to the world, like keeping things on the low low. But I would not trade that time in for the world. BECAUSE in a very short amount of time, I will be retiring at a ripe age of 30 something. Which I plan on bragging about more in my blog. 

Now that I got that off my chest, guess I will put up some art pieces that give me a sense of calmness. And IIIIMMMMM OOOOUUUTTTTT. #Don’tJudgeMeI’mStillNice

I felt like being inspired today by some natural yet very pretty. What better way to get this than looking at beautiful flowers! My favs are peonies! But I just read an article on Elle Decors website, listed above are 4 flowers that are just as beautiful as peonies.

I recently just interior designed an AFC home with the same light grey color scheme. Mixing in metals such as gold and silver made it all stand out. These photos are not my designs. But I will be posting them very soon.
