Important!
Souji was my first RP blog. And, yet, I just don't really have the motivation to write him anymore. I don't plan to delete the blog just in case I do feel the urge to restart it later, and I plan to at least finish off my Souji/Dojima thread with Lucy. (If you're wanting to finish our thread, please let me know.) I still love Souji, but ever since I started RPing as Rise, I just found that my love for Souji was nowhere near as much as it was for Rise and he's suffered for that. So, yeah. I'll probably be reblogging this a few times to make sure you guys know. Again, if we're a decent way into a thread and you want to finish it? Tell me and I'll work on it. But I won't be starting any new threads for Souji unless my motivation comes back strong. Sorry, guys.
Reblog this if you are a Persona RP Blog!
And you will be added to our Directory! I will make sure to update this blog every single day to make sure you guys get the most recent Roleplayers! OC Persona’s and Characters are accepted! (Just as long as they reside in the Persona world)

Comfort, Cake, and Celebration
"Strawberry..? That sounds good, actually. I mean, you still didn’t have to do anything for me, but thanks. I guess I… Don’t mind the company." Adachi followed his guest inside and stood beside the table, watching him gratefully acclimate to the indoor climate. Adachi sighed.
"No, it’s my house — I’ll make the tea, this once. Man, I can’t believe I’m twenty-eight… Do I really need to get any older?" The detective fiddled with the front of his shirt as he turned on his heel and walked toward the kitchen, put on the water for tea before taking down a pair of plates from a cupboard and utensils from a drawer. He left the kettle of water on the stove and brought the plates, forks and knife back to Souji.
"The water should be boiling in five minutes if the stove’s working right, but sometimes it doesn’t," he shrugged, and bent down to arrange what he’d brought from the kitchen on the coffee table.
"What kind do you want?"
"Really... I'm happy to do things for you, you know. I think I'm just one of those people who needs a sense of purpose in life or something, and if I can do things for other people, well, that helps fulfill it. Or something." Souji grinned and looked up at Adachi. "As for the tea, well, I don't mind things being done for me by people I'm fond of, either."
He was tempted to follow the other man to the kitchen, but he spotted a blanket on the couch and took a seat, pulling it over himself. He'd planned this whole thing out a few days in advance, but hadn't really bothered to check on the weather. He regretted it now. He would've put on a thicker jacket if he'd realized it was supposed to snow.
When Adachi came back, Souji rubbed his hands together. "If your stove isn't working, let me take a shot at fixing it? I've been doing some reading on fixing things like that lately. And if I can't fix it, maybe I can at least identify the problem?" He held up the edge of the blanket. "I, um, commandeered this. I hope you don't mind." He patted the couch beside him, though, and smiled. "And as for what I'll have? Whatever you're having, I guess."
Of course he could manage cooking rice. It was ready by the time the rest of the stir fry was ready. He smiled, still mostly happy to be home with Souji.
Once he saw the rice was ready, Souji gave the stir fry a few more tosses over the high heat, then served it up. "I have to say I'm sorely tempted to eat on the couch with you... but it's hard to cuddle and eat at the same time." He smirked at Tohru, then reached up to brush some of his hair back. "You're getting kind of shaggy again. Want me to give you a haircut tomorrow?"

A balm for the pain
"Sure if you’re fine with it Senpai." How did he even being though? Kanji was fine talking about it, it was just he wasn’t used to it. His mom didn’t like him talking about it the few times he needed her help bandaging his hands and most of the time it was just him. "Well for starters, no one really strong was there, just a lot of them." Like maybe 50 of them? He hadn’t actually counted. Just that he had suddenly been attacked and he had to take them down.
"They got me from behind really, or some of them tried. First one they got was here" He pointed to the cut on his forehead. He had gotten that when he had turned because of the yell he had heard. Some guy had dashed out of one of the alleys trying to hit him with a pipe. Probably tried to knock him out or something, but they couldn’t hit him hard enough. Good thing Kanji was tall. After that, others had came out of nowhere mostly with just brass knuckles instead of any other weapon. They wanted to teach him a lesson not kill him.
"They were probably part of a gang from some guy I’d beaten up. Or maybe I’ve just gotten that well known." Kanji grinned at that. If more people knew about his reputation, then they’d be too afraid to try and cause trouble. Or he hoped it would go that way. He didn’t want to cause more trouble. "It’s been a while since I was overwhelmed like that though, I might be losing my touch." He laughed it off.
"I seem to recall that the first time I heard anything about you, it was about you defeating a large group of bikers. I didn't know it was a habit." He said the words with a smile, still being gentle with cleaning the wounds. Souji winced a little as he took in the cut that Kanji gestured to, though thankfully it didn't look too deep. It was more just that head injuries bled a lot.
He tried to keep his calm as he continued to clean Kanji up, but he couldn't quite keep it from his features. "It's just stupid for them to come fight you in the first place. What use is it to fight just to fight? They're not really proving themselves to anyone but each other, and the only lesson they taught you is that maybe you've got a harder head than you know." He frowned, but rinsed the cloth in the warm water and raised it again to dab at the wound on Kanji's forehead. "I'm glad I found you, though. I don't doubt that you could have made it home okay... but I'm glad you didn't have to. You've done a lot for me. Probably more than you realize. I want to repay that as much as I can, even if a lot of it ends up being with bandages and food."
Souji pressed a finger under Kanji's chin, lifting it and turning the other man's head back and forth before letting his fingers slide lazily along that chiseled jawline. "You're not allergic to anything I should know about, right?"
I cleared through my replies on Rise and Naoto today, so I'm going to try for Souji replies tomorrow. Too tired right now, though. Moving is a horrible thing to have to do. -_-
He gave a nod, getting the necessary things for making the rice with. It may have been a while but he was glad that Souji didn’t move the cooker at least. He watched the other as Tohru set up the rice cooker.
Stir-fry was easy enough now that he'd done it so many times. Lots of small pieces that cooked fast tossed in a pan with seasoning, cooked until the flavors just started to meld, and served over rice or noodles. He focused on the process, trusting that Tohru could manage the rice.
A balm for the pain
"You’re not weird." His Senpai was really cool. He always knew what to say and did what he wanted. Though maybe that’s why he might not be a good doctor. Though maybe he’d be good pushy.
When Souji came back, he thought back to remember if he had gotten hit below the waist. He didn’t remember and his legs felt fine, just tired. “Nah I’m good there. No one really aims for the legs unless they want you in the hospital.” Which was really rare because it was a lighter sentence the lighter the beating.
It was easy to smile at Kanji's words, though he quickly turned his attention to the bowl of warm water, dipping the washcloth in and wringing it out before beginning to gently dab at the worst of his wounds, trying to get an idea of just how bad they were. After so many battles inside the Midnight Channel, he'd gotten used to seeing his friends beaten up and bloody and knew that small cuts could bleed pretty badly and look worse than they actually were.
"Do you want to talk about the fight?" He asked the question calmly, though he really felt more than a little rage inside. What made anyone think that doing this kind of thing was okay? He paused on that thought, though. It wasn't as though Kanji had never gotten in a fight before. Souji himself had been in several situations where he'd threatened violence, or thrown a punch or two. But this... this seemed serious. If it was a situation where Kanji couldn't hold his own, how many guys had tried to beat him and, more importantly, why?
And then I hit 200 followers here!
But I am a zombie who cannot think straight because it's almost 4am. Oops? Going to bed now.
Tohru nodded, following along. He still stayed close to Souji, not wanting to leave his side any time soon.
Souji pointed to one of the cabinets. "I moved the rice in there, but the rice cooker's in the same spot." He opened up the fridge and began gathering what he needed, pulling it all over near the stove where he pulled out a knife and cutting board and went to work on chopping meat and vegetables.
