If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to study and think, there’s no place like the Library!
After a night of grading assignments, there’s nothing like relaxing with a good book, a cup of tea and some chocolate.
I don’t know why, but I’m really craving roasted marshmallows.
Well this is interesting. It seems fans are creating artwork based on....me!
I’m flattered, and now curious as to what else is out there.
I still remember the first time I rode a roller coaster.
I got sick.
When you have a pile of unread books sitting in front of you, but can't decide what to read first.
What a lovely day out there today.
Spring is definitely in the air! Might just have to take a trip aboveground to get some fresh air.
When Bobby told me about his time on Quillan, I kept thinking how I wouldn’t have lasted one minute on that territory. Between Dados hunting you down, having to compete in deadly games, and oh yes, SPIDER robots, I wouldn’t have stood a chance.
My goodness, it must have been frightening there. Sounds like a place of nightmares.
I’ll never forget waking up and seeing the Statue of Liberty lying on its side outside the bedroom window of my apartment.
In all, I was a very light sleeper that night.
My cat Earnest is such a character. She likes drinks out of the bathroom sink, sleeps under my bed sheets and basically follows me around like a dog.
I love dogs, but I wouldn’t trade my little tabby for anyone else.
I’d really like to take another trip back to Second Earth. Pendragon told me of a place called Garden Poultry Deli. From what he described, they sell the best french fries in the world.
Our fries are great here on Third Earth, but I’ve simply got to check out this Garden Poultry place!
What an experience it was getting to see real, physical books on Second Earth! I love the libraries here on Third Earth, but there was something so incredible about getting to hold an actual book in my hands. I certainly wouldn’t mind being a librarian in the 21st century.
I’ll never forget my first trip through the flume.
Yes, it was incredible. Yes it was breathtaking. Yes it was unlike anything I’d ever experienced.
I also wanted to vomit.
I have to say, I couldn’t ask for a more rewarding job as a Teacher.
Now if only I could get all my students to complete their assignments on time...
It sometimes surprises me that it took so long for me to discover the wondrous soda pop that is Mountain Dew. I can see why Mark Dimond is so fond of it!
Although I think my first experience with it involved me getting ‘wired’ on it, or that’s how Courtney described it anyway.
Note to myself: Be careful with Dew.
I have to say, the computers of Second Earth are extremely crude compared to what we have here on Third Earth. When I was finishing up my research on Naymeer, something odd happened with Mark’s computer. The screen froze and then went black, and no matter how much I shook it, it didn’t respond.
I think he mentioned afterwards that when a computer screen goes black like that, it means it’s crashed. And he also pointed out that shaking the computer won’t help matters either.
Let’s just say that I prefer Third Earth’s computers.
Sometimes I think back on what it was like to wake up in my bed and see a mechanical man staring down at me with no expression.
Let’s just say I nearly fainted right then and there.
