Crona sits alone in his room, pressed to his bed, faced burried in his blanket. He lets tears slip out, thinking about his mom. What’s left of his broken family. He sighs and clutches his pillow.

Alone like this, he lets his imagination go anywhere it needs to be- to his mother, to what it would be like not to have Ragnarok, to be normal like Maka and strong like Soul… He’s so lonely. It’d be nice to have a hug..

The door creaks open, and a little blonde bob pokes her head through the crack. With a grin splitting her face, Patty’s eyes bounced around the room, then landed on the little depressed blob on the bed. Her grin fell. Well that’s not good. Time for happy-ifying time!

“Cronaaaa~?” She saang, slipping into the room with a delicate thud following her. She skipped over to the bed, slipping beside him. “Whatchya doing?” A hint of concern tinged her voice. She hoped silly crona wasn’t over-thinking again. Her heels kicked back and forth, slightly shaking the bed.

Crona sighs, and nuzzles farther into the pillow, adjusting to the weight next to him. “H-hello, Patty..” He mumbles, hiding his face. He feels even worse next to the accomplished, powerful weapon. She’s powerful, and doesn’t do bad things. Why can’t he and his mom be like that…

He sighs, and it almost seems like a cloud hangs over his head. So much depression…

Patty frowned. Poor crona was really really sad. She didn't want to see him sad. Saddness was never fun.

Scooting closer to the boy, she wraps her arms around him in a big big hug. "Cronaaa~" She sang, lighly nudging him wither her head. "Tell Ms.Patty all about it."

because crona kind of slashed Soul across the chest and almost killed him, as well as infecting him with a virus that could make him go completely bonkers in an instant
