While in Lumiose, you find yourself approaching the Pokémon Research Lab. Outside of it, you notice a young boy and an Espeon.

Before you can approach to ask anything like what he was thinking, the boy, as if sensing your presence, turns around.

His voice is cheery and he has an enthusiastic greeting.
