////About Ivan//// The quiet librarian grew up in Russia, in a small house just outside of St. Petersburg, to be exact. His mother passed away after giving birth to his youngest sister, Natalya. He and his sister were practically raised by Katyushka; the eldest of them both by almost ten years.Their father was always away at work to make sure they would always have food on their table, thus why Katyushka took responsibility. In school, Ivan wasn't the most popular on the playground, having more of a liking towards books by famous authors, and ones that told tales of faraway places. It was his only passion. He studied literature in college, and took to studying abroad in America. It didn't take him much time to learn English, he took extra classes at his college. Though, he still stuggles with some phrases that the kids are saying these days. When he came to America, he was taken in by a wealthy family in New York as his hosts. It was in the classes he took at a college that he met Alfred, and is still to this day very annoyed by him. But, he considers Alfred to be one of his closest friends, and he owes a lot to him. He wouldn't have gotten his citizenship if it wasn't for Alfred's help with studying for the test. Which is ironic to him, because Alfred was almost never seen studying in college. Since Ivan got his citizenship, he found a job as a librarian in a local library in New York. He finished his schooling and is now working to become an author.
////Personality////
Ivan is a quiet man, he prefers reading and listening to classical music. Although he has spent plenty of time in America, he still doesn't feel adjusted to the fast paced city. His accent is still pretty heavy, and sometimes he speaks with it very thick just to annoy Alfred who complains he can't understand a thing when he speaks like that. He despises people who ruin books, and returns them late, or damaged. He makes sure those people never return to his library again. Ivan is a tall man, and a bit intimidating to others, but he's really not. He's like a giant teddy bear; as Alfred likes to say.
