“Some AKs snuck over here for funsies, I swear one’s gonna get stabbed within the next week. It’s kinda funny how easy they think everything’s gonna be, man, like we be drinking tea and crumpets over here. Mum and dad are gonna give’em a slap on the wrist when they get back..”

AKs still sneak on the Isle? Jeez, they really don’t know what’s coming for them, huh? In my opinion, that’s so dumb, they’re clearly unprepared and frankly, too naive for that- not that I have any judgement against them, but anyone who comes on the Isle unprepared gets eaten alive.

We were having a meaningful conversation” she was just teasing, really, she liked messing with him, even though she knew he most likely did not appreciate very much.

“I tolerate you because I have to. Had it not been for the laws of this land, I would have slaughtered you already.” Not really, he wouldn’t. He had free reign to do so in the isle and even then he didn’t. Wei just didn’t want to admit that she didn’t want her to stop being persistent because sooner or later she’s bound to break that shell he hides in. “Okay, then explain to me what was so meaningful about that conversation, Peony.”

Peony rolls her eyes. “Sure, keep telling yourself that” she chuckles. She wasn’t completely sure if Wei would or would not slaughter her, but she liked to believe that he wouldn’t- after all, he probably would’ve done it already otherwise. She shrugs. “I don’t know, because it was about you, and you barely talk about what happens in your life”

Peony looks at him innocently. “Whaat? Pfft, of course I will… eventually.” She chuckles. To be frank, she is going to let it go, she just enjoyed teasing him a lot. “But I’m glad you’re making friends. You know, other than me” she says with a grin. “She sounds like an interesting person” 

Wei could only exasperatingly sigh at the comment, he should be used to this by now. But then again he hadn’t expected her to be here and bothering him either. “What makes you say you’re my friend? That’s a stretch. Besides I didn’t come here to make friends. This conversation about friends is going in circles. Let’s just end it at I met a person and now they think we’re friends. And shouldn’t you be heading to class now or something?”

A small announcement

Hey guys! I’m sorry I’ve been inactive lately! School has been stressing me out a lot these last few weeks, and my grades have been going down a bit (oops!)

It’s kind of hard for me to write when I’m stressed out, especially now, in senior year. But anyways, I swear that when Christmas break is over, I’ll be back! 

Another thing is that I might disappear for a while- I know I owe a lot of replies and threads as well, but that’ll have to go to January because starting tomorrow until most likely January 6-7, I’m going to be gone. I may come back, but it’s not guaranteed. I’ll probably be dragged at many events, and I’ll probably be forced to “not be on the electronics too much” (quote from my mom) so we’ll see. Anyways, I love all of you, and if I don’t come back on time, Happy Holidays! <3

Who'd have thought I'd be saying goodbye to you again so soon? Darling, it was ever a pleasure to know you. I must say, I've never been more stunned by a girl than I was by you. Thank you for gracing me with your presence while I was here. Toodles, love.

Peony looked away from the letter. Holly left? Just like that? No, no, no, that couldn’t be true. She was there just yesterday… she had just lost Hakon, she couldn’t lose her too… could she? She read the letter over and over again. Nope. She was gone. It had hurt the first time but now? It was way worse. Because Peony knew that this time, she wasn’t coming back. She bites her lip, reading it again; somehow, she didn’t want to believe it. Holly… Holly was more than just her friend. She was more than just the pretty girl with red hair. She was… amazing. She radiated confidence, way more than Peony ever could, even though she acted otherwise. All those compliments she had said to the other girl… they were, in a way, to flatter her, but they were also completely honest, they came from the bottom of her heart. She had not only came into her life, she had also come into… her heart. How Holly had managed to steal her heart like that, she will never know, but it didn’t matter anymore, because she’d never see her again. This was why she didn’t allow herself to get so close to people, to let herself soften like that. Nonetheless… she didn’t regret it. Meeting Holly was one of the best things of her life, and it was probably what kept her from being more upset than she was. It still hurt though, and she sat on her bed, sniffling slightly.
