New city, new adventures. That was pretty much how she was looking at this temporary get away from New York. Though, with this being a new and strange place she had to be especially careful with hiding her mechanics. Even though the weather was starting to cool off, it was still way too warm to wear a jacket unless one wanted to start sweating to death. So, she simply had to settle for an old sweater. 

In the midst of her travels through the streets, something caught Miku’s eye, something completely out of the ordinary. Well, by society’s standards anyway. Walking down the street like it was nothing, was a boy with green skin. ‘Am I seeing this right… Or has the air pollution finally gotten to me..?’ She thought to herself, finding herself unintentionally staring at him.

With all the titans either gone or busy and since beast boy had already finished all his video games at least 15 times each he thought he would go for a walk. He loved the atmosphere of the city which was actually pretty quiet for a populated city when villains weren’t doing whatever evil plan they came up with. Since he has been a hero for so long in the city, everyone was used to seeing the changelings green skin and thought nothing of it. Most of the time he forgot about his green skin finally no longer being insecure about it. Chills went down his spine feeling somebody staring. Immediately he stopped in his tracks and looked around for who was watching him.

It took a little while of her involuntary staring for her brain to convince herself that she wasn’t actually losing he mind. The way people just passed him by though astonished her. As soon as he stopped in his tracks and started looking around, Miku gave a quiet gasp and averted her pastel gaze away from him. It’s bad enough when someone catches you staring, but a stranger?! That is just one of those things that are grounds for getting yelled at. At least in her home city that is, she wasn’t too sure about that theory for Jump City.

While looking around his ears were able to hear her gasp thanks to his heightened animal senses. He immediately looked her way now getting suspicious. Still unsure of who it was he walked over in the direction of the gasp trying not to look around and let his ears do the hunting for him, he couldn’t help but be a little nervous. Thoughts ran through his head, was it a fan? A enemy? Or maybe he was all wrong and it had nothing to do with him. Unable to shake the uneasiness beast boy continued to walk closer.

Though she wasn’t looking at him full on, just out of the corner of her eye, Miku’s heart rate sped up. Did he know it was her that was staring? If so he wasn’t doing anything about it yet. In a way she actually felt rather rude for staring. ‘He’s a person not a sideshow attraction you twit!’ She mentally scolded herself before glancing back up to see he had started getting closer. Bringing a hand up to her shirt, she fiddled with something on her collar bone through the material.

Unable to figure out who it was he was about to give up until he saw a girl fiddling with something, pretty nervously he may add. His lips curled into a smirk as he got an idea, "I know it's you he" half whispered in the direction of the girl. The changeling figured if it was her this would make her jump now all he had to do is watch her for a second. His heart was pounding unsure who it actually was or what they want.
