So this is more of a question about otafest!(I wasn't sure if you had another tumblr or not!). Are you doing the karaoke thing again this year?? I wasn't sure who to ask about it so I was like AAAYYYEE I know you were there ♡

Are you talking about Otafest Idol or the Otafest Aurora Chubby Bunny + Christmas Carol panel I did last year? Unfortunately my funds are pretty low this year so I can't make the trip from Edmonton to Calgary for Otafest Aurora this year so I won't be hosting that panel again even though I had a BLAST last year and it was a huge hit... :'<...

If you're talking about 2015 Otafest Idol then I will be there! It's probably my favourite thing about Otafest.

ABOUT - Setsuna Drive Project

What is Setsuna Drive Project?

Well, first let’s cover what Setsuna Drive is. Setsuna Drive is a recent 9 Parabellum Bullet IA release. The vocals use the IA append, IA ROCKS, and the video accompanying it is animated by none other than Shidu, the person behind many of the official kagepro PVs. OccasionalSubs has released a nice, clean subbed version of the video here. Please give it a watch before you continue on reading; take in the lyrics and the visuals!

Now, that brings us to Setsuna Drive Project. As you can probably tell, the video obviously has a story behind it - revolving around two people. It is the mission of Setsuna Drive Project to bring that story to life even further and adapting the short PV into a mini audio-visual story. Will it be 100% true to what 9 Parabellum Bullet and Shidu had in mind when creating the song and visuals? Absolutely not. Only the team behind the creation of the song and visuals know what the true story is. This project will be a story based on my personal interpretation of the PV.

This project will include an original story, voice acting, visuals, and possibly original art and possibly an English adaption of the song. The latter two haven’t been finalized in my plans, but if there’s enough demand then I will see to it. So far my plans, where those elements are concerned, are to use the official art manipulated in Sony Vegas and to simply use the original song.

I will update this post as I find it necessary to add more things to it but for now please feel free to hit up the Ask Box with any questions you may have while the project is in the writing stage. Most questions will contribute to the FAQ section of the blog so they are very much appreciated!

A really dumb clip I made super fast. SFX ripped from various other shows and BGM is from the Hataraku Maou-sama OST since the Nozaki-kun OST isn’t out yet.

Please forgive Kashima’s recording quality - I had to record in an unusual space where it’s echoey and gross but considering this is just a quick clip I didn’t want to hold up the release just so my quality could be perfect HEEEEH.
