Shady Knolls died over 40 years ago, but she can't remember a thing from before her death. She's devoted her afterlife to researching ghosts, and, maybe, discovering how she can escape to the spirit world. Feel free to ask her friends, Camera and Morning Lily, questions as well. ((It's been a while since I last updated, so I think I owe everyone a bit of an explanation. The biggest reason I haven't been updating is that, with finals to prepare for and a case of the flu disrupting my schedule, I've gotten out of the habit of drawing and preparing updates. Finals are over and I'm healthy again, so I hope to resume updates soon. I'll be putting updates back on a schedule, as I think that's what helped me be consistent with my updates prior to this accidental hiatus. If I succeed in getting back into my schedule, Tuesday and Thursday will again become update days, and I should post my next update this upcoming Tuesday. If I fail, I'm sorry for the disruption, but know that I am trying to get back on track, as I genuinely enjoy this blog when I'm running it. Thank you for bearing with me!))

((Hey guys, quick update. Unfortunately, I'm a little under the weather, and, while it's nothing anywhere near serious, I'm getting fatigued very easily at the moment. This means that I have to budget my energy carefully at the moment, and real life concerns are more important than this blog. I am not, however, announcing a hiatus, as, not only have I made a commitment to a couple people, but I also still truly do enjoy this blog (the margins of my class notes are currently filled with sketches of Shady and company at all the crucial moments in their respective story arcs). Instead, I am taking this blog off of a regular schedule. I'll be updating whenever I can work up the time, energy, and drive to do so. I also may be updating with somewhat less finished drawings. I'm sorry that I have to interrupt what has been a fairly regular update cycle, but I definitely don't want this blog to become a chore, as I've seen what that can do to people. One more thing: to dungeonmasterbonbon I will still be participating in the pony prom, and will still do my share of the story/updates for that. Thank you all for reading this!))

Shady's Background, Decade 2/4 ((Surprise update! I just couldn't start drawing this update for some reason, so I decided, in the interest of updating, to give you guys a late traditional update instead! Drawing this took about half the time that a normal update would have, although the quality may have suffered somewhat. Also, since Shady's going to prom, here's a look at a preliminary prom-dress (yeah, I've figured out a way to get her into a dress).))

Shady: You want to go...with me? I mean, I would love to, but what if some unicorn freaks out, or- Lily: Shady! Calm down. It will be fine, trust me. Shady: I...yeah, you're right. Bon Bon, I would love to go with you as a friend. ((That's right, Shady's got a platonic date to the pony prom! After the background-explanation arc is finished (or, if necessary, before) I've got a quick pre-prom thing planned to. A brief history of my "life" thus far Decade 1/4 ((If this uploads correctly, that means that, hopefully, I've found a (somewhat time-consuming) way around my glitch. I've got a better plan that I'll be able to put in place soon, which means I should be able to resume using actual photo sets soon!))

Tech Issues?

((I'm going to have to take a short hiatus from this blog due to tumblr refusing to allow me to upload my photo sets properly. Once I can get this fixed, I will return to posting, and also, hopefully, will post an update for every update day missed (Thursday's photo set, for example, is already done and saved). If anyone has any suggestions as for what I should try, I would like it if you could write them below.))

Anyway, I've been busy preparing for a trip, but, hopefully, I'll be able to make a real post for Thursday, and we'll get to see what Shady's been doing for the past forty years!))
