Can u show us the process of making your art?? Im very interested!
First: Initial Sketch, I use different colors for different characters so you don’t lose track of where arms go and such. In this stage, be loose and its fine to make mistakes. You can always change stuff in the lineart or add things.
Second: Lineart, this is for refining what your style looks like, and what the art piece is going to look like as far as outlines before you start coloring.
Third: Start Your Coloring Process, I find that starting out with lighter colors and tones should come first to me because its easier for me with how I layer on my digital program, I’m so awful at remembering to add a new layer and if I don’t start with lighter colors I find it harder for me to color parts later.
Fourth: Light Sourcing and Finish Coloring, From here I just finish my coloring and I like to add white highlights at times. Depending on how hard I’m working on a piece you add more or subtract highlights. This post of them dancing doesn’t really have highlights but if you check out some of my other works you will see them.
Fifth: Final Touches and Special Effects, If you’re wanting to do any special effects on your program like background colors and other stuff do it now. After everything is colored I really like messing around the the balances of brightness and color contrasts. From that on I’m done!
