Every time i am introduce to my friends parents...

i´m always so worked up about the first impression... i wear snakebites , have long hair and also a bridge piercing ...so most of the parents i met, first thought that i was either anti social or just plain dump... so i always try not to mess up!

Piercings are in my part of country not that super usual but rather rare...

Also from time to time , when i and the other family members got a bit more accustomed , i get the above stated feedback a lot of times BUT...plot twist-

Most of them were really surprised that their first impression changed so drastically when they got to know me.. such a hassel( i´m actually really social and friendly)

Though i don´t really care about what others think about me most of the time , i catch myself still worrying about it... what do you think? you think one shouldn´t care at all or the middle way might be a more suitable approach?
