Are animals spirits of the same hierarchy as we are? In other words were we once animals and will animals get to incarnate as humans (after they've gone through the primitive ancestors of the human race)? The Spirits' Book explicitly says that animals aren't part of the Law of Progress and aren't of the same lineage as that of human spirits. However, some prominent spirits within the Spiritist movement such as Emmanuel and Ramatis claim that animals are, in fact, human souls in their infancy. PP

Hi, people! This blog’s admin finally graduated. Yay!
She has to put her life in order, now that the worst of the workload has passed, but the uploads will happen as often as she can manage.
We don’t know if you all are aware, but this blog has a Portuguese counterpart. The asks that are made in Portuguese are answered in Portuguese and translated into English, and vice-versa. Both askboxes contains presently 13 unanswered questions, and we have 4 untranslated questions from before the little dissertation-hiatus.
We will draw the ones that were made in English as soon as we can. Until then, we will post the four translations. If you have made one question and it’s taking forever to get it answered, don’t worry: it will be in the next few weeks.

There’s a book about biological evolution through spiritist eyes, called (translation mine) “Evolution in Two Worlds”, by Andre Luiz. I don’t know if you can find it easily out there, but I recommedn a try if you know a good deal of Biology.
