"I thought I'd built up enough of a reputation to avoid just that. I've been busy, as the ruler over an entire realm of billions of souls should be. And you?"
"Boredom and a rare afternoon to myself. How are you, uncle?" He was only her uncle due to the fact that she’d married into one near branch-less family tree but he was one of the few ‘uncles’ she had who was living. Her biological kind had all died out centuries ago.
"I am doing fine. Admiring the fact that my realm hasn't become but a ruin during my absence and mentally preparing for the incredible joy that is watching the recently deceased moan about their fate. The usual." He gave a half-hearted shrug, arms folding behind his back. "I'm by far the least entertaining god in all the pantheon, why am I having a hard time believing that you came down here just for my company?"
The dead are being a little too lively for my taste as of late.. denial and struggle will only get you so far.
" You know I’m not, my lord uncle." Psyche smiled even though she was nervous. Her last trip down here…well the coins, the barely cakes…the former mortal never exactly knew if she was welcome or not.
That voice was familiar. The god tilted his head lightly, gaze shifting to look at her. "...Psyche. What, oh what do I owe the honour of you visit?" An eyebrow raised, his face covered by a painfully blank expression. She was as welcome in his realm as any other relative - not very.
Mh, I could get used to some extra time off ruling the Underworld. I'm surprised Charon didn't accidentally destroy the Asphodel Meadows or anything the like.

“So negative, that’s a turn off. I bet I could teach you a thing or two.” He smirked at him.
“Hey! She almost killed my brother, that bitch is crazy! She could have killed us all.” he frowned for a second before he schooled his face again. Showing concern for his brother? Not bloody likely. His look turned sceptical as he tilted his head forward and arched an eyebrow in an amused look instead. “You care to find out or are you scared? It’s cool, I can be gentle with you honey.”
"....No." Yes. No. Hades was horrible with jesting like that, he quickly felt somewhat overwhelmed and annoyed by it and usually just pulled out of conversations like that one. Oh, but that would make him out as the loser this time, so he won't. His next comment, however, merely made him smirk. "Mh, she, unlike me, does get her hands dirty now and then. Tasteless." And that last statement again made him frown. "No. I don't want to find out and I'd very much appreciate it if you wouldn't give me pet names otherwise I'll just call my lovely little doggie to play with you.."

"I am not bound to this family of ours and I don't particularly enjoy my relatives' company. That's why I never.. visit."

The muse hesitated a bit to hear the threat of the man “I. .. I just thought it might be a good idea to come visit you, uncle… But …. But I can leave if my presence bothers you”
He raised an eyebrow, head tilting up a little. "I only take visitors when I have a reason to allow them in here. I don't just randomly get visitors. As you might have noticed, I'm not the most pleasant being. What do you want?"

“I didn’t see you, Menthe, you’re excluded from the possibility of being ripped to shreds, of course. What is it that you need of me?”
” … Only to inform you that I am no longer a plant and to seek your permission to visit the Cocytus on ocassion, my lord.” She said before bowing.
"Obviously. I knew." He simply stood there, observing her quietly. "Certainly. I don't see why not. Don't cause any trouble for me and you are free to move wherever you want."
