SAVIOR, CONQUEROR, HERO, VILLAIN
((goddamnit))
If you think Jolee Bindo isn’t one of the best companions in any video game ever, then we can never, ever be friends.
Access to the Wookie village of Rwookrrorro is restricted to Czerka personnel only. May we interest you in a walking stick, created from the sturdiest trees of Edean?
The old man narrows his eyes in concern. Really now? He definitely wants to go to the village to find out for himself. "No, no." Jolee answers, trying to peek past the robot. If it is a robot. If it's a human... "I'm not old enough to need a cane yet, damnit."
Hey Jolee. I meet a lot of people who seem to see Jedi in this black or white, you're either with us or against us type of way (even some actual Jedi, heh). Some even say there's no such thing as grey Jedi. I was curious what your take on the concept is.
"Well. That would mean that people like poor Kae and I don't exist, and I'm pretty sure we're both here, creaky bones and all, heh-heh. If you think that's true, then, well...hmm. Let me tell you this, sonny. The Jedi, as self-righteous as they can be, aren't infallible. You know this. The same idea applies here. Especially considering Revan's past."
❝—Huh! No—I’d never.❞
There was some clear exaggeration with his words. He wouldn’t nag him per say. No, he wasn’t a child anymore. Stooping down to that level would make him seem a bit childish—correction—all too childish. A smile passed over the man’s lips and he leaned back into a wall of the Ebon Hawk. Clearly, he’d get the story he wanted. Revan let out a throaty hum.
❝I'm listenin' Jolee.❞
He continued to think to himself for a loong while. "...There was a Jedi, once. I barely knew him, although he fought in the War of Exar Kun, same as I did. Now, he didn't have the Force swirling about him the way poor Andor did, but he was quite handy with a lightsaber." Jolee finally started. "Anyway, at some point he decides to go into a Sith-occupied city. To free the citizens, as I remember. Very noble, noble goal." For a short moment Jolee paused; it was almost as if he expected Revan to interrupt.
"You knew all along who I was and what I didn’t remember." Just an old man who’d been lost in the woods for far too long right? That was some time ago even still, she mirrored him though, her own arms crossing against her armored chest. "You never told me anything, yet you still helped me, and I am eternally grateful but—"
There was always something that bothered her and she was never entirely sure why until now, she didn’t get the significance until she remembered everything, “—I am not a snake.” Of course her attempt at humor was best kept hidden, since by the Force was she terrible at it.
The old man shrugged at her accusation. "Yes, I did." Jolee answered simply. "I always knew. It simply wasn't my place to tell you. I wasn't there to judge, anyway; point fingers and shout like some of the people on the Jedi Council. You'd apparently changed from the past and become a fine young lass afterwards. That's all I needed to understand." "Besides," he added with a wry grin, "I don't think the story would have had as much of an impact if it were a gizka or a whirlbat I was talking about. Do you?"
((i know i have 2 asks and at least 2 people i need to get back to (i'm really sorry btw) and i will most definitely try to get them done tomorrow!! this i swear!))

Czerka Corporations would like to welcome you to Czerka outpost G5-623, also known as Edean. What is your business here on Edean?
Edean? Hadn't he and Revan already kicked the tails of those Czerka goons out of Kashyyk? This deserved to be poked around in, looked into...Hmph. He was getting a little old for this. Oh well. The old man crossed his arms. "I have some things I need to pick up from the Wookie village, Rwookrrorro. Mind letting an old man pass, sonny?"
I need a medkit, old man!
Said ‘old man’ glowers at the greyface in annoyance. “Hnnh. So polite and charming. No. I already told Revan this, but I’m not a kit factory, you know.”

The old man raised his bushy eyebrows at the sight of the familiar woman popping up on his terminal. He folded his arms across his chest, not bothering to hide the smirk that grew across his face.
"Hnnh." he said as a gruff greeting. "I didn't expect to see you again, missy. Is there something you need...?"

❝Aww—Come on, Jolee. I’m messin’ with ya.❞
It was merely a jest in the first place. Revan had a friendly bit of a witty side that applied to the Ebon Hawk crew. They were like a family to him anyways. The man chuckled softly.
❝Besides, I like hearing your stories.❞
Was he buttering him up? Maybe.
Of course Jolee knew that Revan was joking around. It was true that most of the folks on the Ebon Hawk were sort of like a pseudo-family to him, anyway. Still, the old man was cranky, and he was a bit tired. "Bah." he snorted, accurately guessing what the younger man was trying to do. "You're too young to be so nosy. But, I suppose you'll just nag at me until I cough it up, aren't you?" He shook his head, a faint smirk growing on his lips. Crazy kid... "Fine. I'll tell you about something. But, remember. You asked for it, so pay attention!" Jolee responded. He folded his arms across his chest, looking up as he thought. Hmm...
"never use this word because it’s common, instead use all of these things that i’ll call synonyms even though they carry different connotations and will change the meaning of your dialogue if you use them" — very bad and unfortunately very common writing advice
