A PSA ON GODMODING
It really really gets me down when I am legitimately enjoying a thread, and then it just turns sour.
This has happened to me multiple times.
I donât like godmoding. I avoid it at all costs. I would appreciate if other people did too, but Iâm starting to think that not everyone actually knows what godmoding is.
So here are some definitions, with thanks to urban dictionary.
godmoding â When one plays a character that can never be destroyed, harmed, etc. The character, however, can hurt and/or kill the other characters without giving the other characters a chance.
god modding â âGod Moddingâ is in essence when someoneâs character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. And example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RP-ers try. -It can be killing or injuring a character without the playerâs express permission. -It can be when they simply canât be hit and dodge all attacks or anything for this matter aimed at them. -It can also be using other characters that other people RP with. In other words, if you do not RP as Legolas, then you cannot have Legolas say anything, or do anything, without the playerâs express permission. The absolute worst is when they make out another character to be what theyâre not, just to make their own character seem superior. They make others seem weak, screaming for help, when theyâve made it quite clear about their advantages and strengths. This is called power-play. Itâs a strain of God-Modding, but instead of just being irritating, itâs offensive to boot.This is a prime example of God Modding: Bob: Throws a punch at Sven. Sven: Dodges attack, grabs Bob and throws him. Bob: Flies at Sven, who warps behind him and slashes Bob in the back.Â
THIS ISNâT OKAY.
I really donât like dealing with this.
A lot of rps turn out amazing when you allow your own characters to be hurt. And you get a lot more plot development that way.
Donât get me wrong. A lot of you have amazing characters. AMAZING CHARACTERS. And it just feels⊠like a loss when you rp like this.

   Female muses arenât here just to be sex symbols. Powerful and strong Female muses arenât to be taken lightly or underestimate simply because of their gender/sex.
Female muses are JUST as capable and strong as Male muses. Female muses can be stronger than a Male muse. Female muses can be weaker than a Male muse.
BOTH gender/sexes of a muse is just as capable as the other with anything.
    While Iâm at it the same goes for RACE of a muse.
Stop trying to downgrade a muse based on Race/Gender/Ethnicity/ETC. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Itâs disgusting and highly unfair.
