Story Time: Song
Markus had invited Berwald and Beck over to hang out whilst their parents were busy with their sisters. Mikkel was at work and had said that he didn’t mind the duo being over, so long as they had something to do while they were there. Luckily Hanne kept Matilde busy and away from the guys. Knowing the blue eyed female, she would stick to them like glue and probably talk their ears off. They might not like that. Markus definitely wouldn’t.
“You’re not going to believe what I found in one of the rooms!” Markus exclaimed, a bright smile on their face, pulling the two with him to one of the back rooms of the apartment. Red and blue eyes look around the room when they were there. It was a recording studio. “Who wants to try it out first?” Asked the Dane standing at the controls. Both Berwald and Beck were silent for a moment until Beck spoke up. “I will.” “Alright, head in the recording room,” Markus said. A nod from the younger Swede and went to the designated room. He placed the headphones on when he got to the microphone. “What song?” Markus asked. “Miss Jackson by Panic,” Beck replied. “Alright, alright, alright,” Markus said. He figured out the keyboard and made an attempt to get the song playing for the redhead. A smile crossed Beck’s face when the music started and he soon started singing. Luckily Markus had started recording right before. It was here that Markus discovered the beauty of Beck’s voice. When he was done, red eyes look at Berwald and Markus. “How was that?” He asked. “I didn’t know you had a beautiful voice,” Markus replied through the speaker. Beck smiled brightly and blushed a bit. “Seriously, your voice is gorgeous. I’m surprised that didn’t come out when you were singing Dancing Queen on your birthday for Berwald.” “Thank you.”
“Saving lives,” Mikkel said after he had gotten back from work. “Priority one.” A yawn soon escaped the Dane with stubble. “Tired?” Markus asked. “And in need of food,” Mikkel said as his stomach grumbled hungrily. “This is what happens when I’m given three shifts in a row and have to work through my break each time. A tired Dane that’s running on an empty stomach.” There’s more hungry grumbles from said body part. “Yeah, I can tell,” Markus said after a moment of silence. “It sounds like there’s a wild animal in your stomach.” Mikkel huffed a bit and rubbed his stomach as he looked through the fridge. “Sorry for being starved.” Once Mikkel had what food he wanted, he went to the table and started eating. The grumbling of his stomach did die down as he ate. Berwald looked between the two Danes.
“Y’ want someone t’ lay with y’?” Berwald asked, aqua eyes looking up at the older Dane when he finished eating. Mikkel looked at Berwald and smiled faintly. “Ja, I could use someone to cuddle.” “Cuddle pile!” Markus exclaimed. Beck smiled brightly. “Cuddle pile!” A yawn from the purple eyed Dane. Markus took Mikkel by the hand and dragged the elder to his bedroom. Berwald and Beck followed them. Almost immediately, Mikkel crawled into bed. A figure laid on each side of him and two heads rested on his shoulders. Another figure laid on top of the trio. Another yawn from Mikkel before his eyelids drooped shut.
The following morning, Berwald and Beck had woken to see Mikkel still sleeping. Markus was already awake. Turns out, when Mikkel’s really tired, he’ll sleep all morning.
Late afternoon, after the Danish doctor had woken up and eaten, Mikkel took a deep breath and put the headphones on. Markus started the music and Mikkel started singing shortly after. It was Linkin Park’s Crawling. Blue eyes of Markus look down.
