Introduction!

Hi! I’m Torchdongivafuk, and this is a spin-off soft AU of Overkill, a harder version of in stars and time

To be honest, I have no idea how blogs, AUs, and official stuffs work (this was entirely spontaneous, but I don’t have any regrets!!). But, I’m willing to give it my best shot! Thank you, @askoverkill, @cicada-wisp and all the anons for the ideas that created this blog, and for permission (at least from overkill) to start/continue my work. (if anyone is uncomfortable with me working on this blog, please message me so we can talk it out a bit, especially so I know who else to credit)

This blog is interactive, and as the story progresses, you may directly interact with the new a Siffrin soon, so keep asks pouring in! :)

This post will be pinned and edited as I see fit, so expect updates every now and then 👍

hi siffrin!! how you feeling today!!

“Mmm, pretty good. I mean, I just woke up, so ‘good’ is subjective, really.”

(You stare down at one of the asks in your playbook. It feels, a little awkward, answering something written aloud like this, but you feel compelled to do so anyways. It disappears once answered.) (Spooky!)

Act I - Part 1

(You sit up abruptly, gasping for air. Well, that was weird!)

(You recognise this place, although you’ve never been here in person) (From your perch under the tree off to the side, you take in your surroundings) (This is quite reminiscent of In stars and time, a RPG you’ve had a quiet obsession of for over a year now. Is this a dream?) (You stare at the stone detailing of a very ornamented wishing well, eyes sliding down just enough to see the anxious, sort of familiar red-tinted star underneath and realize that this isn’t right.)

(Your back hurts)

(To your left, lying in the grass is a neutrally shaded hat. It looks pretty ugly, to be honest. Reminiscent of a jester- but you’ve always been quite the jokester, so maybe that makes sense?)

(Is this yours? You can’t even remember. You’d assume so, but you’ve never been one for hats in the first place- they’ve always messed up your hair) (Holding onto it as you stand, you slip your hands into the pockets of your clothes in search for anything that may be of use to you)

(You stare at a small, condensed theatre script) (The title reads: In stars and time) (Yyyyeah, that’s pretty self-explanatory. The table of contents contains the cast, the different acts 1-6, and “asks”) (You flip to the latter, only to find the pages weirdly empty, besides for a few sentences addressing you) (You wonder what that’s about)

Bonus: a really crappy stretching doodle that was created at 3am

(You don’t know where you are.) (One moment, you were drifting off at home, exhausted after a long day of absolutely nothing) (The next, your body floats in an abyss) (You wonder what your purpose is)

(“Here” is familiar, at least to some extent) (It’s not warm, nor cold- just devoid)

(You notice a star in the sky) (It is lonely) (You wish to join it)

(Gently cupping it, you feel… full.) (Like somehow, you were meant to be here, nurturing it) (This is your purpose)

(Everything turns visceral) (The world shatters around you) (…You broke it) (. . .)

(You are a vile poison)

This is the prologue to an AU I plan on working on: Underkill, a spin-off soft AU of Overkill (I hope the name is okay, I will change it if it makes anyone uncomfortable)

EDIT: “under” is pretty much the start of pretty much every undertale AU literally forgot about that for some reason, and when I went to look through the tags, I just kept seeing this cool undertale AU Anyways, either I’ll change the name, or I’ll just share a tag, which I don’t mind. (We’ll see) The universe leads ✨
