Maddy didn’t like being called Mad anymore, apparently Ginny either hadn’t gotten the memo, or had gotten it and didn’t care. That bit wouldn’t exactly bode well if the gang did get back into working with each other, “Not so sure about that, Gin. Maddy and Anthony are playing nice with the AKs lately, and I don’t know the first thing about breaking into Auradon,” He shrugged, lying his ass off.

“Isn’t it obvious? Maddy and Anthony are just pandering. Do you really think Maddy would try to murder our dear Lady Mal and then change sides all of a sudden? And Anthony’s just always been mopey about his dad. He’s never really meant it.”

Ginny wasn’t delusional; she knew she was being incredibly optimistic. But if she didn’t have confidence, then what did she have? “Like I’d expect you to know the first thing about breaking through the barrier? Please. Trust me thoguh, there are other people trapped here that do. So are you in? Or are you out?”

“Jeez, Gin, you really want to go to this stupid dance that bad?” June joked a little bit, though really he wouldn’t be surprised if this was a ploy to get Ginny into prettier dresses and makeup. There was the tunnel under the catacombs that Maddy had told him about, but he wasn’t keen on spreading that information, “What exactly are we gonna do? Start a food fight and get sent back here?”

“Pffft, no, who do you take me for? Mad Maddy?” Maybe there was a small part of her, somewhere in the back of her mind, that really did want to go to the dumb, Auradon Prep dance. But she knew that it was fruitless, and it was better to crush it now then let it grow and somehow ruin her life more than she already had.

“Think about it. How close did Zevon get when he made it over? If we get the old gang back together, we could do what Mal and her cronies couldn’t. We could take it down, once and for all.”

Though delighted to see Ginny, Quilla flinches a little at the mention of the word ‘insane’. She zones out slightly, but manages to pull it together and ground herself, keeping the flashbacks at bay. She’d been getting better at that recently, and she’s more than grateful.

Pulling herself out of her daze, she responds. “I’m a woman of my word,” she insists back, matching the other girl’s whisper. She leans back and checks her surroundings. “Well, I wasn’t followed, I don’t think. Don’t think anyone recognized me behind this cloak and veil.” She demonstrates, pulling the veil back up over her face before drawing it back down. “I did stop and ask a couple people for directions. Honestly, the worst part was getting misdirected to a bait shop. I’m fine otherwise.”

Still in a panic, Ginny completely missed the princess’ flinch, instead frantically looking back and forth from the window, to Quilla, to the door. Rushing towards her, she quickly threw aside any concern she had over how unstable she must be acting, and the grip she found herself using on Quilla’s arms was more for her own comfort than the Auradonian’s safety.

“Listen, you have to leave, now. If my mother catches you, catches us, I don’t-”

Speak of the devil, and she will appear.

“Ginny, dear, what’s going on in there?”

Paralyzed with fear, the VK almost forgot how to speak for a moment.

“You need to leave, now.”

“I said I’d visit you here, now, didn’t I?” Quilla teases, popping her head up through the window when she figured the coast is clear and the girl’s mother is nowhere near. It’d been tricky, finding her way here.

Without a number or an address, Quilla had to ask around to find the place. Some folks figured it would be hilarious to direct her elsewhere, which resulted in her turning up at some shop that sold anchovies and bait. She hopes her perfume would hide the smell enough. Showing up at a cute girl’s house for the first time smelling like fish doesn’t quite make for a great impression.

Managing to find someone kind enough to give her proper directions, she was able to arrive with plenty daylight still left in the day. “May I come in? It’s kind of freezing out here.”

When the princess from Auradon had promised to come see her, Ginny hadn’t thought that she’d actually meant it. So when she suddenly appeared at her window, she wasn’t sure which emotion struck her first. Surprise, happiness, or fear.

Luckily, her mother didn’t seem to be around. Well, either that or she was asleep. But either way, she was pretty sure that she hadn’t heard anything. So, like a rocket, she shot up to help Quilla in through the window.

“What are you doing here?” She began, her voice a harsh whisper. Running past the girl, she leaned out of he window to check if there was anybody around that may have seen. Satisfied that there wasn’t, she drew the poor excuse for a set of old, musty, hole-filed curtains. “Are you insane? What if somebody saw you? Please tell me nobody saw you!”

It had been a solid hour of Cillian looking for his last vial of holy water. He was positive that it had to be around somewhere, and if someone were to pick it up, the chances that they knew what it was were slim. Nonetheless he was determined to find it, producing it took some time and effort, especially in the conditions he lived under. Perhaps one of the Isle’s more, scientifically inclined must’ve had it.

There were very few options he could recall,either it was in the hands of Yzma’s kin, or even Gothel’s. He hadn’t heard from Zevon and Yzla in ages, so that was a bust. Which left Robin and Ginny, and Robin didn’t seem to be the kind of person found so easily. Leaving his last lead: Ginny Gothel. Where would she be, lounging in all her refinery at this hour?

Ginny was surprised that she’d gotten so lucky in her raid of the Frollo household. She knew they were fanatics, but holy water? Oh, it was just too rich.

Of course, her entire goal was to be found. Set her plan in motion and all that. So she didn’t make an effort to hide particularly well. She strayed far enough from their den so that she wouldn’t incur the wrath of his creep of a father, but close enough that she shouldn’t take too long to track. Although as what felt like the slowest hour of her life crept by, she began to wonder if she’d given the boy too much credit.

Luckily, she soon spotted her prey.

“Looking for something?”
