the camera shakes before focusing on a blond man, sitting next to a small campfire. he looks a bit confused for a moment, before realizing the person holding the camera had begun filming, "oh hi.. everyone? i don't know who can see these, i'm assuming its not only the diamond swords watching these anymore! i'm evbo, and the guy behind the camera is ferre- he doesnt like being on these much, but he'll also respond to anything you all have to say! anything else you think we should add, ferre?"

"maybe mention the fact everyone is dead?" a voice, supposedly ferre, behind the camera chimes sarcastically.

"oh yeah," evbo huffs, "so, i came down here alone first, expecting a bunch of tridents and axes to beat me up, yknow? but, when i got here, it was dark out, and there were monsters everywhere. more zombies than you could ever imagine, every other civilization has been turned into zombies!" evbo buries his face in his hands, rubbing his eyes harshly in frustration, "i don't- i don't know if tabi-..."

the camera pans to the ground, and ferre speaks again, "ok, i think thats enough. if tabi is out there, we dont want her to know we've survived the zombies too." evbo agrees with a small 'yeah', and the camera focuses on him again, "now pose for the camera," ferre requests, the smallest bit of playfulness in his tone.

"okay..?"

"hey! turn that filter off, that better not have been on the whole time!"

Heads up, UK friends.

Discord has implemented the age verification requirement system per the upcoming law going into affect later this week early, so prepare yourself for other sites, which may include Tumblr given the intent is to target adult content which may affect here because of how it still does get posted here, even if the intended targets are the actual site for it.

As of writing, the official petition to have the Online Safety Act repealed is close to 30,000 signatures, but it's barely enough to garner much attention to where it may be dismissed by Parliament, or may get discussed but not getting to where it'll be repealed to actually figure a system that doesn't carry the risk of private information getting leaked.

So again, please help spread and sign the official petition here.

Did ferre have to go through what evbo went through? Being tortured only to come back once more?

Or was the prophecy thing not lying when they said he was untouchable? Unable to be truly harmed by another?

And how was ferre able to “pass off” his power to the armor stand- if he even knows?

ferre looks at evbo with a slightly puzzled expression, and evbo seems embarrassed, "i didnt tell him all the parts where i sucked..." evbo mutters, crossing his arms, "the swords held tabi captive and killed me over and over for my swords durability.."

ferre holds back a laugh, "why didnt you just kill them?"

"im not untouchable like you are! you remember how long the gold level took me," he pouts, "just answer the questions."

leaning closer, ferre squints to read the questions again, "oh, the prophecy? i made that up, mostly, i read it in a book left in the room i gave evbo," he explains, digging into his bag and pulling out a book- also wrapped in cloth to protect it from the loose steak, "that's all it said."

he shows the page, which written is exactly that.

"as for evbo," he motions to evbo while putting the book away, "i just took my sign and head off the wall, i still respawn there. i used to die on purpose to get information from the iron level for the other diamond swords. thats what were out here for, theres no risk in our lives."

he sighs, resting against his knee, "i do hate dying though, after getting so used to the soft beds in the diamond level, waking up on the wood level really hurts your back."

evbo scowls, "imagine waking up to that like 5 times a day," he rolls his eyes.

the video continues from the moment the last one ended, evbo is still grinning and theres a small smile pulling on ferres face. spirits look high.

ferre opens the bag hugged between his arms, pulling out a slightly damp piece of cloth wrapped around steaks, "bags full of meat, thats why its stained. evbo and i dont need to eat much anyways though, our bodies can handle a bit of starvation since we cant really die."

"speak for yourself, im starving," evbo whines, trying to snatch the food from ferres hands.

ferre shoves the food back in the bag, swatting evbos hand away, "come back when your bleeding out, youre not wasting our food because youre hungry!"

the two fight for a minute, but its more lighthearted than their last. when they calm down, evbo looks back toward the camera, "oh, and the zombies... well, they have the weapons of whatever they were bofore they turned. makes bow civilization a whole lot easier, they dont know how to shoot!"

"though, there werent any swords the first day we were out here. now theres a lot more. it seems spawn is still creating new players, even without any civilizations to run it..." ferre adds, he looks a bit upset, and you could imagine why. after all these years of being spawn camped by the other civilizations, swords still cant make it because of some new monsters. "im just.. sad, i hoped wed find another sword out here. looks like evbo and i are still 2 of a kind."

the camera is propped up and facing both ferre and evbo, though ferre looks uninterested. evbo seems more like his usual chipper self, at least in comparison to the last video. it seems the two videos were filmed around the same time, as they were still against the same tree. the only difference is now a campfire lights their surroundings.

"oh yeah, the guard! um..." evbo thinks for a minute, "i mean, id assume hes still in my iron sword mansion. i didnt really ask what he'd be doing while im gone. i'll have to look for him next time i respawn."

ferre interrupts, "if you have to respawn you wont have any time to play nice with the people still in the sword civilization, you-"

evbo crosses his arms and snarls at ferre, "stop bossing me around or i will just go back, i dont have to help you."

"ill send you back myself, you little-"

evbo turns away with a scowl, shoving at ferres face, "as for what were looking for, were not really sure. its a split between tabi and whatevers causing the zombies." he rubs his face and huffs, "but, even if she has the eternal sword, she only had half of it. im... worried, she might have been turned into a zombie. it was hard enough for two of us to survive out here, i cant imagine being alone out here..."

"but, if she is a zombie shell at least be too brainless to use the sword against us," ferre chuckles, evbo doesnt seem entertained.

evbo shakes his head, "lets just move on, okay?" ferre turns away, and evbo continues, "as for the other 'swords', the diamond swords stayed at the bottom level of the sword civilization. when it comes time for them to help, we will let them know. and im sure parrot is still playing in his oversized bird bath."

both of them laugh and ferre pushes evbos arm, "youre an ass, man," ferre chuckles.

the video starts with the all familiar image of evbos hand cutting off half the frame, before he peaks into the other half, "hello, everyone, sorry about our absence," his tone is snarky and sarcastic, and he glares off screen, "somebody deleted my last post, before it even finished uploading fully. so, that somebody will be answering the question we now lost."

the camera turns to ferre, whos hiding his expression under his mask before he starts speaking, "theres nothing out here. no buildings, no people. an occasional lake or tree, but thats it."

evbo huffs, scratching the mic, and points the camera, "there, that wasnt so hard, now was-" the video cuts off. you get the feeling that ferre and evbo arent getting along right now, but the sarcasm and anger is a bit much from evbo, its angrier than hes ever shown in his video journals before.

["just keep walking, i see something in the distance" is all ferre has said to me for the past... when was out fight? 7 hours ago? he also told me to stop filming these, but he didn't say anything about typing. i don't think he even knows we can type on this, but i don't plan on telling him. i don't know where we're walking, but when in doubt i could always just die. it would suck to lose the portable journal machine, but it'd beat wondering into the void with this jerk. we haven't seen anything for miles, at this point we can't even see the civilization's towers. -evbo]

Soooo... zombies huh? that would explain some things. how are you two holding up? also whats it look like out there? just empty fields and forests or are there buildings and shit?

the video starts blurry, a scarred hand blocking any view for the first few seconds. evbo fights to prop the camera up on its own while he sits in the grass, "we're holding up just fine now! at first, it sucked really bad, I came down here alone and just kept getting ambushed by like giant hoards of zombies," evbo rambles, looking up towards the sky, "oh- but yeah, now that ferre is here too, everything is smooth sailing."

there's a small pause, evbo looks off camera for a minute, assumingly towards a fire burning a distance away, "um.. there's not much down here actually. i thought there'd be more, and maybe there is if we travel further out, but near the civilizations there's nothing but the towers and spawn."

ferre adds in, "it seems like we should head out though. being near spawn is just causing more zombie encounters."

"what if there's nothing there?" evbo's fists tighten, it seems like they've had this conversation before, "what if we just run away from all the problems?"

there's a small rustle off screen, and footsteps trailing off, "what problems are here? there's nothing but dead people."

"the zombies," evbo shouts, standing up and walking off screen, "what if there's something we missed?!"

the two stumble too far to be heard, only distant shouting. this continues for a while, before ferre stomps into frame and ends the video.

the camera focuses on the ground, a pair of bloody green sneakers barely in frame, "oh, ferre, look! the first message is for you!" evbo cheers, the camera flips to show him grinning towards ferre off screen.

the video machine is shoved into ferre's hands, who calmly reads the text. His eyes widen and if you look closely you can see the smallest tint of red underneath his mask, "oh. Um, thank you.." he stiffens and glares at the camera, "evbo, you said you weren't recording my reaction."

evbo smiles as he takes the video machine back, "yeah, but i thought it would be good for the views. clearly the viewers like you." evbo leans closer to the microphone and whispers, "i don't think he gets compliments often." the video ends with evbo grinning widely at the camera, waving bye as it ended, and ferre grumbling just too quiet to hear.

"come on, man! we just killed like- 10? zombies! that was insane! we have to take a picture to remember it!" evbo cheers, a wide smile on his face, an unsettling image considering the bloody skull in his free hand.

"i'd rather forget.." ferre rolls his eyes.
