....yeah so reminder bc apparently this has to be said. outing somebody is NEVER okay. doxxing somebody online and then outing them to their fucking family “because of fandom drama” is evil and i hope you rot in hell. and this just demonstrates truly the amount of violent homophobia that resides just under the surface of this fandom. last year people would scream about streaming yntcd but here we are 1 later and lgbtq swifties are getting outed and doxxed on twitter. what the fuck is wrong with some people. idk if this has happened elsewhere all ive seen is what happened on twitter. but oh my god. that is just. beyond not okay in any context. that is revolting. like truly, lgbtq fans said they still want betty to be their gay song, and it turned into them being doxxed and outed. that is violent homophobia and really makes me feel sick.

The music video for “cardigan” will premiere tonight, which I wrote/directed. A million thank you’s to my brilliant, bad ass video team - Cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto, producer Jil Hardin, executive producer Rebecca Skinner, AD Joe ‘Oz’ Osbourne, editor Chancler Haynes, special effects wizards David Lebensfeld & Grant Miller and set designer Ethan Tobman. The entire shoot was overseen by a medical inspector, everyone wore masks, stayed away from each other, and I even did my own hair, makeup, and styling 😂
