controversial (apparently??) good omens take
that was the perfect ending.
these are the two most selfless beings in the universe. there was no apology and there was no kiss and there was no 'i love you' but it doesn't matter.
aziraphale and crowley sacrificed what they could've had so that this new universe would have everything.
two seasons aren't trashed because everything was erased, everything was erased and refreshed BECAUSE aziraphale and crowley went through those seasons. BECAUSE aziraphale and crowley loved each other since the beginning of time.
those two seasons y'all want to say are pointless now because of how they erased it all don't understand that it took everything that ever happened for them to get to their happy ending.
asa and anthony aren't exactly them, but they're who they could have (and would have) been if heaven and hell never existed in the first place. THAT'S THE POINT.
heaven and hell were the problem. restarting gave crowley and aziraphale (yes, crowley and aziraphale) room to fall in love with each other without the baggage and the trauma and the responisibilities of angel and demon.
on good earth, they are asa and anthony and they ARE the angel and demon we watched fall in love these past two seasons and they also aren't.
