Food
As you may have noticed, I love food. I especially love nutritious food. I even love food I've never tried before.
WHAT? How can anyone like food they've never tried before? Because I like variety in my diet, as diet is huge part of how I manage my symptoms.
I realize that not everyone is as thrilled as I am to try new food, but I always want to encourage others to consider trying one new thing per week. When I first changed my diet, I would just cruise around the produce section at the store and pick out whatever caught my attention. There's some pretty tasty food out there that looks very curious - My favorite example, durian, is below:
Durian is a fruit popular in southeast Asia. Known for it's unique (and sometimes overwhelming) odor, it tastes like vanilla caramel custard.
Despite liking variety in my diet, I do have sensory issues with some types of food. For example, yogurt is the bane of my existence.
This creamy white substance NEVER agrees with me. Dairy isn't a part of my diet and even the non-dairy yogurts on the market gross me out.
SO
For me, ever.
