Murphy’s law, applied to fanfics.

- The fic starts out great, nice style, language, captivating summary. It’s unfinished and has been abandoned since 2013.

- The fic is complete, nice style, language, tons of kudos speak for themselves. It’s about your NOTP.

- The fic is about your OTP, it’s complete, it’s kinky as hell. The plot is absolutely dumbass.

- The plot sounds great, it’s about your OTP, it’s complete. The characters are horribly OOC.

- Everything is perfect in this fic, starting from the first letter and ending with the last full stop. It’s exactly 800 words long.

- The fic’s word count is a six-figure number, it’s about your OTP, characters are compliant with your head-canon. It’s dull and boring as seven hells.

- The beginning is enthralling, everything’s great, the plot, the style, it’s long and it’s even about your OTP. It features something that makes you close the tab as soon as you open it, like father/daughter incest or mpreg or some other squicky thing.

- Everything is perfect in this fic, the length, the characters, the language, the style, you forget you’re reading fanfic, thinking it’s a masterpiece of true literature, you cry tears of joy and write a huge review full of gushing love and then rush to the author’s profile to read every other thing they’ve written. It’s their only work.

Without a new job Dean’s current lifestyle is on the line, and no he is not letting Sam pay for the apartment with his shitty intern salary. Dean is a big boy, so he does what big boys do when no one will hire them in their industry: change industries. With Gabriel’s help Dean becomes the assistant to Fashion Photographer Castiel Novak. His new boss is eccentric, weird, and a complete mess - but what Dean does he does right, damn it! He will be the best assistant any photographer could ask for or fall in love trying!! Wait… what?

So I’m up to date on SPN

I feel like the last ep would’ve been the perfect ending to the series. Sam and Dean have their Mom back as well as Charlie, Bobby, and Cas. And Lucifer is stuck in an alternate universe. If they left it there without that ending of showing Lucifer and Michael working together I would have been content.

This show while I love it needs to end. The whole story arc this season has been weak and it’s just not doing the series justice. They never fight a monster of the week anymore and the character development has been weak for a couple of seasons now.

For me I hope the next season is its last and let J2M move on to better and bigger things. They deserve it

Had a comment on a fanfic on AO3 wondering where I am so thought I’d update y’all. Im all good I’ve just not active in the SPN fandom anymore. I’m so behind in SPN think I got up to the hiatus for the Winter Olympics and now I’m behind again... I’ve lost the urge to write fanfic and I’m not even really reading it much anymore either. I’m not going to say my fanfics will remain unfinished but I’m not going to say the opposite either because I honestly don’t know if I’ll write again.
