One of Dòrok's most advanced creations, Dowámna is a hand-crafted soft-tissue organism permanently fused to a robotic exoskeleton. Its internal anatomy mirrors a cockroach-like lifeform, featuring a decentralized nervous system that allows it to function for extended periods even after catastrophic damage, including decapitation.
Dowámna is powered by an internal fusion core, which supplies both energy and nutrients through a photosynthesis-like process, eliminating the need for a digestive system (Though it still retains vital organs and structures like: heart, lungs, arteries.) Constant exposure to this energy source makes its cells hyperactive, granting rapid regeneration. In prolonged combat, breaches in the exoskeleton cause scar tissue and uncontrolled flesh growths to emerge, sealing damage but giving the unit its disturbing appearance.
Despite lacking traditional eyes, Dowámna perceives its environment through integrated sensors, enhanced hearing, complex olfactory systems, and echolocation. As a living organism, it requires handlers for care and conditioning, and possesses the sentience of a dog, making it highly trainable and obedient in battle.
The only reliable way to neutralize Dowámna is to destroy its fusion core, visible as a violet eye beneath the chest cavity. Once compromised, the unit rapidly starves, its organs failing as the flow of energy ceases.
Apologies for the inactivity, I’ve (Den) been going through a lot with a horrible battle with health issues, I have been more active for the project on the discord, in fact most of the nations have been named now, and things have been chugging along production wise even though I’ve been horrifically chronically ill and in and out of hospitals.
