Oh my gosh you guys! I’ve been meaning to post this for a while (aka since before i moved blogs), but I think by now you guys know me enough to realize that if procrastination were a class, I would make an A+.

In a few months time Noah will be officially a year old (noah’s blog birthday is on Halloween) and I have all of you guys to thank for making this one of the most fun and amazing roleplay experiences of my roleplaying life.

First let me introduce some honorable mentions (aka the baes)

riippedapart (frankie - my future wifey)

frankie was one of my first writing partners when I created baby noah. since we first started collaborating, we have be come great friends and amelia and noah are the cutest little sugar babies together that there have ever been. if it weren’t for frankie, i would have surely deleted my blog at least four times. If you all haven’t followed frankie and melia then you aren’t living your life to the fullest. frankie is a wonderful writer and such a good friend.

youfuckingfiend (nicole - the cooliest)

nicole and adam are both the cooliest (yes i am trying to ruffle his tail feathers) as i have stated above. i cannot tell you how very intimidated I was when i first discovered her blog, but i’m so glad i stopped being a wimp and was like ‘hey yo we should do a thing’ because it earned me a wonderful partner and a cool af acquaintance.

did i mention to you guys that remy/noah is otp af?? well they are. kayla enabled me to explore so many facets of noah’s character and gave her a love that she will have all her life. i’m so glad she puts up with my fickleness and procrastination, because she is one of those many people that i just couldn’t get along on this site without.

“Yet.” his reply was melodic, it had an annoying ring to it. He cocked a grin, offered up a particularly suggestive expression. He didn’t touch that shit, YET. Gabriel could change that in a heartbeat if the magic words got touched upon in the right way.

A pregnant pause followed and, for a short bit, it seemed as though Gabriel had garnered some COMMON SENSE, that he was going to back down and not be a goddamn idiot for once.

He shifted forward, leaned on the table until he was quite blatantly invading the man’s space. Lips parted and for a few halting seconds, he just grinned and let the anticipation hang there. The affiliate darted his gaze upward, met the man’s own in stride, and offered up the four damning words he’d all but been DARED to utter,

“Make me. Baby. Boy.”

Tired, old, jaded.

But not fucking wasted.

It wouldn’t happen. As a cop, he’d seen enough junkies wasting away in the street. Petty theft and larceny occurred just to pay for that temporary fix. He heard boys at the station dipping into dimebags to help them cope.

It was too immoral.

He preferred distance. He distanced himself from Grace and it got him a divorce (can you blame him?). He distanced himself from his daughter to keep her safe.

By habit, he recoiled. He tilted his head up and back, unreasonably angry. His shoulders grew tense.

❝Keep it up and you’re lookin’ at harassment charges. What degree depends on you.❞

Tug of war could only last for so long.

His laugh is as wispy and winded as the smoke he inhales – she finds it an inter- esting sound, one to dissect. She wants to cut into it with a Y shape, wants to stitch it with a baseball knit. Smoking is not all that makes this man tick, and while Isis often denies it herself, it’s just the same as how her drinking is not the only trait she has.

“Fuck yeah, it is. Long’s it gets the job done.”

She’s unsure of whether she wants to roll her eyes or laugh at his words. She settles some- where in between, an acerbic smirk resting on her lips. “Not a threat, huh? How d’you fuckin’ know?” Not that she’d do anything to him – who would, seeing that bulge from his gun resting threat- eningly against his hip?

That medical stare left him numb. Everyone knew the stare – one of judgment, one of calculation, one that could easily turn into a scolding over bad health and poorer circumstances. He didn’t smile anymore.

❝You’re not the type.❞

It always boiled down to that. Bradley clenched his jaw, watched as the cigarette began to shrivel up and turn into ash. A final drag and it was done. He stomped the stub out in a black tray, full of half- smoked cigarettes. Full of dares that didn’t last long.

❝You don’t look suspicious. It’s a part of protocol. Payin’ attention means everything. You do it too. The comb-over, the stare, the look.❞

His hands felt empty.

So The last six months are all here with anything earlier being stored in another room.” Swiping her key card, she cautiously opened the door, only to be hit by a sickeningly sweet aroma. He fears were confirmed only a moment later when she spied the powder upon the table in the faint glow of the screens. “Uhm…he–I apologize for the mess, Detective. It’s usually not like this? Do you…well, are you familiar with how this works?”

Detective Sigmund didn’t pride himself on his technological skills. In fact, they were sorely lacking. He knew how to do the basics on a computer and use a cellphone. That should have been enough.

❝Looks like cocaine instead of sugar.❞

An off-handed joke to cover up his disgust. He grimaced when he stepped closer towards the array of monitors. Without a napkin to wipe away the sticky and sweet grime, he had no choice but to touch the keyboard.
