Do you love CrossFit tabata workouts but hate using a timer? If so, you'll LOVE Tabata Songs. What is a tabata? Tabata is a work-rest method associated with many CrossFit WODs. Here's an example: For 20 seconds, complete as many reps of a given exercise (sit ups, pullups, pushups, etc.) as possible. Then rest for 10 seconds and repeat this seven more times for a total of eight intervals. Usually, it is necessary to use a timer or stare rigidly at a clock with seconds on it. But with Tabata Songs, you not only get great music options to listen to during your workout, but you also get a built in voice telling you when to start and stop each round. Check out this video, shot in Denver at CrossFit Lodo, with athlete Andrea Ager demonstrating a full tabata workout using Tabata Songs.
